How to Play Anby

Inflict Daze Using Basic Attacks and Dodge Skills

Anby's Basic Attacks are her main way of inflicting Daze on the enemy. This is further amplified when you do her Basic Attack Combo, allowing her next Basic Attack to inflict even more Daze.

Anby's Dodge Counter is also effective at inflicting Daze and restores her Energy, which she uses for her EX Special Attack.

Deal More Daze Using Basic Attack Combos

Basic Attack Combo

Basic Attack Combo ・Basic Attack 1 → Basic Attack 2 → Basic Attack 3 → Hold Down Basic Attack / Press Basic Attack After Delay

Anby's bread and butter combo for dealing maximum Daze is through holding down her Basic Attack after her third Basic Attack. This allows the attack to deal additional Daze to the enemy while fully utilizing her on-field time.

Basic Attack and Special Attack Combos

Basic Attack and Special Attack Combos
・Basic Attack 3 → Press Special Attack / Hold for EX Special Attack
・Basic Attack 3 → Press Special Attack / Hold for EX Special Attack → Hold Basic Attack

Anby can also use her Special Attack after her third Basic Attack to have it deal more Daze to the enemy. It also makes the Special Attack launch faster. There are two combos for this and both are usable depending on the situation.

When Anby has enough Energy, you can use EX Special Attack instead to deal more damage and Daze than her normal Special Attack.

Block Bullets By Dashing

While dashing, Anby automatically deflects bullets using her sword. You can use this to avoid damage from bullets when you're far away. Keep in mind that Anby can only block bullets when dashing and not other attacks.

Deal Even More Daze Using Ultimate

Although Anby should not be using her Ultimate frequently, you can use it to inflict a massive amount of Daze on the enemy if you need to Stun them immediately.

A free and decent option for stun if you don't have any other good stun character. You can ignore the third-hit mechanic when using EX-Move. You normally use 3-hit mechanic when you don't have enough energy to get a bit of daze in.

What is a good replacement for Grace if I don't have her for Anby?
