List of Contents

New content for Perpetrator Battle has been added in Version 2.3. Lucia's stages, Night Purifier, are now available for Proxies to challenge.

Hollow Zero unlocks during the Art of War Lite Edition commission in Chapter 1 - Intermission. This intermission will come after completing Cat's Lost and Found, which is the part where you will unlock the time system and side commissions.
Chapter 1 - Intermission Quest Guide

Hollow Zero is accessible by going to the Scott Outpost Interior. It's inside the big tent and will be located on the left of the entrance.

Hollow Zero is currently split into two categories: Depths Investigation and Area Investigation. The Depths Investigation is where all the main rewards can be obtained, including those that are reset every week.

Depths Investigation has two modes: Lost Void and Withered Domain, where Proxies will face various challenges to progress their License Level. Unlock higher License Levels to claim more rewards!

Area Investigation is where you can access Hollow Zero events such as the Mystery of Arpeggio Fault. This is another roguelike game mode that uses the HDD Exploration format.
The Mystery of Arpeggio Fault Event Guide

In Lost Void, Proxies explore Hollow Zero by going through combat challenges with a set team of Agents. Before heading in, you can choose unique effects that will aid your squad.
The different modes in Lost Void will change up the different buffs you can select for your team. The availability of Agents will also depend on which mode you choose to play.

In Task Force Investigation, Proxies can explore Lost Void and take on the Miasma Priest or the Wandering Hunter as the final boss. More bosses may be added to this mode in future updates.
Rewards and featured Agents are reset regularly, so be sure to clear this at least once a week.
Task Force Investigation Guide

Face a series of combat challenges while using specific Agents. New Agents and challenges are added to this mode over time.

Explore Lost Void and confront Geppetto in the final encounter. Weekly buffs and modifiers are available to choose before entering.

Fight your way through the Hollow with the help of several supplies that provide unique effects.

Here, Proxies will get to experience a special story mode involving some of the characters stationed at Scott Outpost.

In Withered Domain, Proxies will go through five different zones in the HDD Exploration format before challenging Nineveh in Inferno Reap - the sixth and final zone. Resonia kits obtained in the fifth zone, Withering Garden, can be saved and used against Nineveh in Inferno Reap.

Qualification Assessment is the first zone you can unlock in Withered Domain. This zone consists of two stages: the Edge and Frontline stages.
Qualification Assessment Guide

Old Capital Metro is the second accessible zone in Hollow Zero. It consists of 5 stages: the Edge, Frontline, Interior, Heartland, and Core stages.

Construction Ruins is the third accessible zone in Hollow Zero. It consists of 4 stages: the Frontline, Interior, Heartland, and Core stages.

Abandoned Skyscraper is the fourth accessible zone in Hollow Zero. It consists of 3 stages: the Interior, Heartland, and Core stages.

Withering Garden is the fifth accessible zone in Hollow Zero. It only consists of one stage, but you can add modifiers to increase the difficulty and get more rewards.
Resonia kits obtained here can be saved and used in Inferno Reap.
Withering Garden Guide

Inferno Reap is the sixth zone of Hollow Zero and involves fighting an undefeatable version of Nineveh. Proxies will be rewarded by the total DMG that can deal to Nineveh in either a single fight or throughout all fights against her.
Be sure to bring your best characters with you and pair them up with the best Resonia Kit, which you can build by acquiring Resonia in the Withering Garden and saving them after your run.

You can get additional rewards, mostly Polychromes, when you unlock a certain number of new Resonia, Corruption, Special Areas, and Lost Items. You can get the rewards by talking to Ray near Hollow Zero.

Completing Bounty Commissions will reward you Z-Merits that you can use in Casper's Shop to purchase valuable items, such as Master Tapes and Boopons.
Bounty Commissions also have other rewards such as Inter-Knot Credits, Polychromes, and Dennies!

Interact with the Hollow Zero console at Scott Outpost and select your preferred mode. You can choose between Lost Void or Withered Domain.

Regardless of which mode you choose, you will be tasked with exploring various zones and stages as you make your way toward the final boss.

In Hollow Zero, navigating the floors will earn you various types of Resonia, which buff your Agents and help them defeat your opponents, including the boss at the end of the exploration.
Also, obtaining Resonia of the same type will allow them to join together and become one, which makes them more powerful.

Exploring Hollow Zero gives you Investigation Points, which you can use to raise the level of your Investigation License. The Investigation License progression for Lost Void and Withered Domain is separate.
There is a limit to how many points you can earn per week. This limit increases as you level up your License.

Leveling up your Investigation License will net you various rewards and also increase the weekly limit of Investigation Points you can earn through exploration.
The maximum level for the Investigation License is until Level 60.

Aside from the Investigation License and Combat Configuration, Hollow Zero also has Bounty Commissions. These are time-limited commissions that give you rewards upon completion and refresh weekly.
The tasks for each Bounty Commission are random and the rewards also change every reset.

You do hit a limit on Z-Merits. In the safe zone, they'll be greyed out once you hit that limit. I've been grinding Hollow Zero too much this week lol
