The Bardic Needle in Zenless Zone Zero (ZZZ) is where players can Tune and Dismantle Drive Discs. See what features the Bardic Needle offers, as well as its location in this guide!

Bardic Needle Features
Tune New Drive Discs
Bardic Needle is owned by the NPC Elfy, and the store's main function is to grant access to Tuning. Tuning makes use of Master Copies to create new Drive Discs for the player to equip to their agents.
Allows Access to Different Types of Tuning
Upon unlocking Bardic Needle, players will initially only have access to Beginner Tuning, which uses Audio Booster Master Copies and results in B-Rank to A-Rank Drive Discs being created from Tuning.
Increasing the level of Bardic Needle will grant access to Intermediate Tuning, which uses Noise Reduction Master Copies and may provide the player with S-Rank Drive Discs.
Further increasing the store's level will unlock Advanced Tuning, which uses Hi-Fi Master Copies and guarantees S-Rank discs.
Level Up Bardic Needle
Bardic Needle's store level will increase with the player's Inter-Knot Level. To level the store up, players will need to reach the specified Inter-Knot level and speak with Elfy. This is necessary to access to some of the features of the store.

Dismantle Unused Drive Discs
Bardic Needle also allows the player to Dismantle Drive Discs they aren't using, which will turn these back into Master Copies and Plating Agents of rarities that match the recycled Drive Disc.
Dismantled Drive Discs cannot be recovered, so be sure to double-check which discs are being recycled into materials before proceeding.

View the Drive Disc Database
The Bardic Needle has a database for all the Drive Discs that the player can acquire. This list includes each set of Drive Discs' names, effects, and appearances.
How to Tune Drive Discs
Select the Track for Discs to be Tuned
Bardic Needle allows the player to guarantee the specific Drive Disc set they want to be created from Tuning. To access this menu, select the Track Settings option in the Bardic Needle main menu.
Specify Which Partition the Disc is For
An Agent has six Partition slots, numbered 1 through 6, that they can equip Drive Discs with matching numbers to. After unlocking Bardic Needle's Level 2, players can select which of the six slots the tuned Drive Disc will be for.
Select the Main Stat of the Drive Disc
Drive Discs come with a Base Stat and Random Stats. Upon unlocking Bardic Needle Level 3, players can choose the Base Stat of the Drive Discs that they tune using Main Stat Orientation.

Bardic Needle is located on Sixth Street. Players can find it directly in front of Random Play, across the street.
