Additional Abilities for Bangboo
Each Bangboo has an additional ability that requires a specific number of agents on the team to activate it. Some Bangboos need members from certain factions, while others require agents with specific types and attributes.
The latest Bangboos introduced in the game have a new feature: after acquiring their third Bangboo core, they will only require one member from a faction instead of the usual two-member requirement.

Get Bangboos From Signal Search
You can get Bangboo by pulling from the Bangboo Channel, An Outstanding Partner, in the Signal Search Gacha! A single Signal Search costs 1 Boopon, and 10 Signal Searches cost 10 Boopons.
Boopons can be obtained from Hollow Zero, Commissions, Bangbuck Exchange, and Events.

Steps to Level Up and Upgrade Bangboos
Level Up Bangboos with Bangboo Systems
You can level up Combat Bangboos by using Bangboo Systems. Bangboo Systems are similar to the Agent Level Up materials and can be obtained through quests, events, and Hollow Zero.
Ascend Bangboos with Ether Electrolytes
The term for Ascension for Bangboos is System Optimization, and you must use Ether Electrolytes to ascend them!
Upgrade Bangboos with Bangboo Cores
Combat Bangboos can be pulled from the Bangboo Signal Search Channel. Once you get another copy of the same Bangboo, it turns into Bangboo Cores! There's a limit of five upgrades for each Bangboo regardless of their rarity.

It is unlocked after completing the No Guts No Glory quest at the end of Chapter 2 of the main story commission.
What are Bangboos?
Companions in the Hollow
Bangboos act as companions or assistants for Proxies within the Hollows. Proxies use them to avoid getting affected by the corruption of the hollow fast.
There are many Bangboos that you may encounter within the game: NPC Bangboos featured in quests or events, Combat Bangboos, and Eous.
Eous
The main Bangboo Companion, Eous, is the first and only assistant acting as the Proxy's double within the hollow.
Eous appears within the Hollow Deep Dive System tiles, and you can move them around and interact with puzzle mechanisms!
Combat Bangboos
Combat Bangboos can be used as support within the Hollow's combat section. These Bangboos are capable of attacking enemies or boosting your Agent's stats during combat.
Bangboo Are Now Included in Chain Attacks
Bangboos can now be part of Combat as part of the Chain Attacks with the Agents! However, Chain Attacks with Bangboo have a long cool down so it cannot be used in a battle consecutively.
Aside from using weapons to directly assault targets and deal with lots of damage, they also provide damage buffs to agents upon meeting the conditions stated in their skill descriptions.
Support Bangboos
Support Bangboos are Combat Bangboos that you can encounter within the Hollow Zero stages. They can use their Active and Additional Abilities; however, they cannot join the Chain Attack!
You can only have a total of two Support Bangboos within a Hollow Zero stage. If you choose to get a new one, one of the older ones will need to be dismissed.
