Bangboos act as companions or assistants for Proxies within the Hollows. Proxies use them to avoid getting affected by the corruption of the hollow fast.
There are many Bangboos that you may encounter within the game, there are NPC Bangboos featured in quests or events, Combat Bangboos, and Eous.
The Bangboo Companion, Eous, is the first and only assistant who essentially acts as the Proxy's double within the hollow. Eous appears within the Hollow Deep Dive System Tiles and you can move them around and interact with puzzle mechanisms!
Combat Bangboos can be used as support within the Hollow's combat section. These Bangboos are capable of attacking enemies or boosting your Agent's stats during combat.
Combat Bangboos are now able to be part of Combat as part of the Chain Attacks with the characters! However, Chain Attacks with Bangboo have a long cool down so it cannot be used in a battle consecutively.
Aside from using weapons to directly assault targets and deal lots of damage, they also provide damage buffs to Agents upon meeting the conditions stated on their skill descriptions.
Support Bangboos are Combat Bangboos that you can encounter within the Hollow Zero stages. They can use their Active and Additional Skills however, they cannot join the Chain Attack!
You can only have a total of two Support Bangboos within a Hollow Zero stage. If you choose to get a new one, one of the older ones will need to dismissed.
You can get Bangboo by pulling from the Bangboo Channel or Banner on Signal Search Gacha! A single Signal Search costs 1 Coup-En, and 10 Signal Searches cost 10 Coup-Ens.
Coup-Ens can be obtained from Hollow Zero, Rally Commissions, En-Nies Exchange, and Events. Make sure to check out all of these features and complete missions to obtain them to pull for Bangboos! You will also get Bagboo for free upon unlocking the Bangboo Function for the first time.
To apply Bangboo Buffs, you need to modify Eous and slot in Bangboo Chips. These Bangboo Chips vary in color, rarity, size, and effects. So, choose which Bangboo Chip you'd like to utilize for specific Missions and Quests!
Chip Splicing is a way to buff Eous and in doing so, buffs your Hollow Exploration Experience. These chips have four rarities that range from C-Rank to S-Rank and occupy different chip slots.
You can exchange Ether Electrolyte in the remodeling shop to get Bangboo Chips. The main way to get these Ether Electrolytes is through Hollow Zero.
Once you have the Chips, you can arrange them in one of the set slots and rename them so they're easy to find!
You can level up Combat Bangboos by using Bangboo Systems. Bangboo Systems are similar to the Agent Level Up materials and can be obtained through quests, events, and Hollow Zero.
The term for Ascension for Bangboos is System Optimization and you must use Ether Electrolytes to ascend them!
Combat Bangboos can be pulled from the Bangboo Signal Search Channel. Once you get another copy of the same Bangboo, it turns into Bangboo Cores! There's a limit of five upgrades.
You can Modify, Level, and Upgrade in the Turbo Remodelling Shop right beside the Random Play Video Store!
