Virtual Revenge Story Details

Virtual Revenge is the second Special Episode of Zenless Zone Zero. Special Episodes are new experiences separate from Agent Stories and Phaethon's Story.

Virtual Revenge revolves around Yanagi and the rest of Section 6 faction as they face an unforeseen enemy ahead of them.

Talk to Your Sibling

After unlocking Virtual Revenge, talk to your sibling to begin the Special Episode.

Head to H.A.N.D's Office

Taking control of Yanagi, head to H.A.N.D's office, and talk to the guard to get inside. Afterwards, talk to the Association Staff to continue.

Take a Photo With Everyone

Meet up with Harumasa, Miyabi, and Soukaku outside the HIA building and notify them to continue. Speak with Section 6's fans and take a photo to progress.

Test the VR Machine

Speak with the HIA Staff to start the test for the VR Machine. Defeat the VR enemies with Yanagi and Soukaku.

Investigate Lumina Square and the HIA Building

After completing the simulation, investigate Lumina Square and the HIA Building, then discuss with Yanagi's teammates about the weird occurences in both areas.

Restart the Test Level

Restart the VR test level to confirm Yanagi's theory. Defeat the VR enemies while avoiding their explosion attack when they are defeated.

Chase after the suspicious soldier and finish the cutscene.

Chase the Culprit

Agitated by Yanagi and Section 6's progress, the culprit runs off deeper in the simulation. Chase them again through the VR machine, and defeat the VR enemies on the way.

Discuss the News With Your Sibling

After Yanagi has been booted out of the simulation, you'll regain control of the Proxy siblings. Discuss the news about Section 6 with your sibling and finish the conversation to proceed.

Wait for the Connection to be Restored

After regaining control of Yanagi, check up on her teammates and talk to the researcher while waiting for the connection gateway to the VR machine to be restored.

Defeat Null_Face

Head to the simulation once again to defeat Null_Face and rescue Yanagi's teammates.

Meet Yanagi at the HIA Building

After regaining control of the Proxy siblings, discuss the news bulletin with your sibling, then head to the HIA Building to talk with Yanagi.

Finish the conversation to complete the Special Episode.
