Prior to the grand launch of Zenless Zone Zero, the developers of the game met up with the developers and producers of Street Fighter 6 to talk about their respective games.
They also talk about how much fighting games, with Street Fighter in particular, have had a hand with the design and mechanics of ZZZ!
Speculations about an in-game collaboration between Zenless Zone Zero and Street Fighter 6 have become a hot topic after the release of the Roundtable video. This is not the first time a Hoyoverse game has had interactions with other IPs.
In 2021, Honkai Impact 3rd had collaborated with Neon Genesis Evangelion and made Asuka Langley Soryu a playable Valkyrie in the game. More recently in 2024, Honkai Star Rail had sent their writing team to meet with author and TYPE-MOON's President Kinoko Nasu; that eventually lead to the announcement of a collaboration with Fate/Stay Night: Unlimited Blade Works.
