What is Sons of Calydon?

An Active Faction in the Outer Ring of New Eridu

The Sons of Calydon is a Faction that predominantly operates in the Outer Ring of New Eridu. They primarily ride motorcycles (hence being dubbed as a biker gang) and so far have five members.

Logistics Company “Leaps and Bounds”

Like many other biker gangs in New Eridu, one of the Sons of Calydon's functions is to transport resources such as oil to both the different areas of the Outer Ring as well as within the city of New Eridu.

While participating in these activities, the Sons of Calydon operate under the name “Leaps and Bounds”.

Formerly Led by Big Daddy

Big Daddy, a boar Thiren, is the former leader of the Sons of Calydon until his recent retirement and passed down the title of leader to Caesar. Under his tutelage, the Sons of Calydon learned much about how to survive in the Outer Ring.

Big Daddy was also formerly a member of the now-defunct biker gang, Calydon, led by Caesar's late father. Upon his death, Big Daddy took it upon himself to take care of Caesar and form the Sons of Calydon.

Current Leading Gang of the Motor League

The Motor League is a collective of biker gangs in the Outer Ring ruled by an Overlord, who has the power to determine, create, and change resource transportation routes.

The League's former Overlord was Pompey, the late leader of the Vanquishers. After the events of Tour de Inferno, Ceasar is now the League's acting Overlord, making the Sons of Calydon its leading gang.

Rivals of the Vanquishers

The Sons of Calydon has an ongoing and longtime rivalry with another biker gang known as the Vanquishers, formerly led by Pompey and his right-hand man, Lucius.

They employ the tactics of various mercenaries such as Bellum, Mors, and Pulchra, and will seemingly stop at nothing to give the Sons of Calydon as much trouble as they can dish out.

Caesar King is the Faction Leader

Caesar King is the leader of the Sons of Calydon and is currently the acting Overlord of the Outer Ring's Motor League. She is a Physical Defense Agent who got released in Phase 1 of Version 1.2!

She leads the group in a very energetic and carefree manner. This is perhaps to a fault, as she has been confirmed to bicker and disagree with Lucy, the group's main supervisor, most of the time.

Burnice White is the Faction Mixologist

Burnice White is the resident mixologist of the Sons of Calydon, well-known in the Outer Ring for the drinks she mixes. She is a Fire Anomaly Agent who was released in Phase 2 of Version 1.2!

Burnice is both sprightly and rowdy at the same time. Though renowned for her drinks, as for what they're made of, none can say. Her signature drink is the Nitro Fuel, and as far as anyone is concerned, people seem to like it.

Lighter Is the Faction Champion

Lighter, who sometimes appears in Sixth Street and Lumina Square, is the Sons of Calydon's Champion. His reasons for being in the faction are unknown, besides the fact that he owes Big Daddy a favor.

As the Champion, Lighter frequently engages in fights, especially if it's for Caesar's sake. Devilishly charming, handsome, and strong, he wins most tournaments in the Outer Ring and often forgets the names of his opponents.

Lucy is the Faction Manager

Lucy, born Luciana Auxesis Theodoro de Montefio, is the Sons of Calydon's manager and a Fire Support Agent. With Caesar's hands full with her numerous duties, Lucy steps in to keep things in check.

In stark contrast to Ceasar's carefree personality, Lucy often adopts an all-business attitude and has a short temper, which makes her appear uptight and scary. However, all of this is due to her genuine care for the Sons of Calydon.

Lucy Comes from a Wealthy Family

Lucy did not originally hail from the Outer Ring. In fact, she is born of wealth and prominence, and hails from the city. Her family's wealthy lifestyle restricted her from being herself and going after what she truly desired.

This depravity of freedom is what led her to venture into the Outer Ring—to break free of her shackles and start a new life for herself, far away from the city's prying eyes. Playing piano in a bar, she meets Caesar and gets inducted into the Sons of Calydon.

Piper is the Faction Driver and Mechanic

Piper Wheel is the Sons of Calydon's main driver and mechanic, and is a Physical Anomaly agent.

Her knowledge of vehicle engineering is unmatched, and she transports cargo and her teammates across the Hollows using her beloved truck, Steeltusk.

Piper's Age is Unknown

Piper, though small in stature and young in appearance, acts like the eldest member of the Faction, so much so that she practically calls everyone “young 'uns” and likes hobbies normally only old people would like.

This includes reading newspapers and napping at every chance she gets, even while driving. As for her true age, it is unknown whether she is actually an old, unaging woman or simply an old soul in a youthful body.
