What is Obol Squad?

New Eridu Military Force

The New Eridu Defense Force is like the Military in Zenless Zone Zero, similar to how PubSec parallels the real world's police.

The Defense Force has three main responsibilities: deterring external threats, containing Hollows, and expanding into new territory. Simply put, if a hollow cannot be handled by H.A.N.D, the Defense Force will exterminate everything inside it.

Obol Squad is one of the squads under the Obsidian Division with only a few known members, such as Soldier 11 and Trigger.

Could Be the Old Silver Squad

While it's not confirmed yet for sure, from the 1.6 previews, it seems that Obol Squad could possibly be a variation of Soldier 0 Anby's old faction, Defense Force - Silver Squad.

It could also be a faction formed after the previous one was disbanded. We'll update this section once we get more info on that!

Obol Squad Member Information

Soldier 11

Soldier 11 was, for the longest time, the only known member of the Obol Squad, with only a hint of Trigger's existence during her Agent Story.

Since Soldier 11 is part of a military group, she's very secretive about many things. However, from her Agent Story and Trust Events, it's known that she likes spicy noodles, is fond of cats, and is incredibly loyal to the Defense Force.

Trigger

Trigger is the sniper of the squad. Not much is known about her yet, but it was revealed in the 1.6 livestream that she covers her eyes due to a corruption caused by an Ethereal's Ether Beam during a mission gone wrong.

While it took her eyesight, it also awakened new abilities and heightened her other senses, making it possible for her to continue being a sniper.

She was also formerly part of the Chrysoberyl Division's Lyre Squad. Not much is known about it, only that her previous squad leader taught her how to play a tune in the Harmonica.

We'll likely know more about Trigger during her upcoming Agent Story, Out of Sight!
