What are the Angels of Delusion?
Upcoming Virtual Idols Faction
The Angels of Delusion is a Faction that was previously dubbed as the Virtual Idols and was first announced in the Zenless Zone Zero Pre-Release Livestream on June 28, 2024.
Their second announcement, along with their official name, was made in the Dev Talk video published in ZZZ's official YouTube channel on April 8, 2025.

Appeared in Version 2.1
The first member of Angels of Delusion to ever be introduced in-game appeared in the Fantasy Music Festival quest of the Tales of Midsummer Dreams.
She is dubbed as the Shy Girl, though her name was not mentioned in the quest. However, since she has already been previewed in-game, she will likely be the first member to be announced, which should happen soon!

Full Models Revealed in the Game Awards 2025
The full in-game model renders for all three Angels of Delusion were revealed in the Game Awards 2025, which aired on December 12, 2025!
According to one of the photos revealed, their black-haired member is named Nangong Yu.
In the teaser, Proxies finally got to see a glimpse of the three virtual idols for the very first time of what seems to be their home base, which looks to be underground! This location could either be the Reverb Arena, or Sixth Street's 404 Livehouse.
Potentially Online Performers
Very little information has been released about the Angels of Delusion other than it appears to have 3 members that boast cute and feminine aesthetics.
They also appear to be heavily engaged in online activities, possibly as online performers or social media influencers, as implied by their fixation on a computer with a mounted ring light.
