What are the Angels of Delusion?
Upcoming Virtual Idols Faction
The Angels of Delusion is a Faction that was previously dubbed as the Virtual Idols and was first announced in the Zenless Zone Zero Pre-Release Livestream on June 28, 2024.
Their second announcement, along with their official name, was made in the Dev Talk video published on ZZZ's official YouTube channel on April 8, 2025.

Sunna, Aria, and Nangong Yu
The Angels of Delusion have three members: Sunna, the blonde member previously dubbed as the Shy Girl in the Tales of Midsummer Dreams event, Aria, the pink-haired member, and Nangong Yu, the black-haired member.
Sunna Appeared in Version 2.1
The first member of Angels of Delusion to ever be introduced in-game appeared in the Fantasy Music Festival quest of the Tales of Midsummer Dreams.
She is dubbed as the Shy Girl, though her name was not mentioned in the quest. It has now been revealed on the Angels of Delusion official X account that her name is Sunna.
Since she has already been previewed in-game, she will likely be the first member to be announced, which should happen soon!

Full Models Revealed in the Game Awards 2025
The full in-game model renders for all three Angels of Delusion were revealed in the Game Awards 2025, which aired on December 12, 2025!
In the teaser, Proxies finally got a glimpse of the three virtual idols for the very first time in their home base, which looks to be Sixth Street's 404 Livehouse.
Potentially Online Performers
Very little information has been released about the Angels of Delusion, other than that it appears to have 3 members and boasts cute, feminine aesthetics.
They also appear to be heavily engaged in online activities, possibly as online performers or social media influencers, as implied by their fixation on a computer with a mounted ring light.

Sunna is the Main Composer
Sunna is Angels of Delusion's main song composer and potential music producer. Given her art depicting her brandishing a megaphone, it may suggest that she also serves as the overall coordinator of the group's performances and rehearsals.
Of the three members, Sunna is also by far the most active on social media, as seen from her numerous posts on the Angels of Delusion official X account.
According to her Agent Record, Sunna is both hard-working and sarcastic. While we haven't seen much of the latter part in action, her appearance in the Version 2.1's Tales of Midsummer Dreams event more than proves the former.

Aria is the Main Vocalist
Aria is the pink-haired member of Angels of Delusion and is the group's main vocalist. Not much information has been released about Aria, other than that she is spirited and energetic.
According to some of Sunna's posts on X, a number of her songs are intended to have Aria sing more.
Another notable thing about Aria is that she appears to have two forms. Her “default” form is very human-like, clad in a white dress with accents of pink and teal. Her other form is her robotic form, in which she appears to be always shy in.

Nangong Yu is the Lead Dancer and Captain
Nangong Yu is the black-haired member of the Angels of Delusion, functions as its overall captain, and is the frontliner for the group's choreography and dance routines.
Just like Aria, not much is known about Nangong Yu other than the fact that she loves pranks, and based on her tone alone, she also overflows with confidence, stating that once she starts dancing, no one will be able to take their eyes off her.
