When using an Ascendant Floret, we recommend getting the next superboon if it fits the hero. If not, consider what stat your hero needs most.
We recommend a +Atk/-Def IV for Orochi. Her Atk is a superboon and she needs to increase her burst potential due to her middling Spd negating her from making follow-up attacks against her enemies. Her Def is also average and taking it as a bane doesn't change the result of most matchups.
We recommend taking +Atk as your boon of choice when building a +10 merged Orochi. Her Spd is average and will not allow her to create follow-up attacks except for the most invested builds out there, thus boosting her nuking prowess is the best option.
A +Spd boon can be used to take advantage of her superboon if you plan on giving Orochi premium inheritance.

This build utilizes Orochi's high Atk and Res as a magical tank to absorb damage for the team. Mirror Stance 3 boosts Orochi's Atk and Res while providing a Guard effect to ensure her foes do not activate their special skills. Null C-Disrupt allows retaliation against staff units with the Dazzling Staff effect as well as other sweep effects like Firesweep Bow+. Atk Smoke synergizes with the Panic Smoke effect of Tiger Spirit to further debuff the enemy team. Quick Riposte allows Orochi to make a follow-up attack on enemy phase, something she needs due to her lackluster Spd.

Note: Stats bonuses from skills are not taken into account.
Orochi is a ranged magic attacker (range = 2). Therefore, when not accounting for the Weapon Triangle, the amount of damage she deals will be equivalent to her Atk minus the foe's Res stat.
A generous Atk/Res buff can be seen above.
Off the bat, Tiger Spirit grants +3 Res which will help a bit against magic lineups or when running a Special like Iceberg.
The main effect to pay attention to is that it inflicts 【Panic】 to her target and foes within 2 spaces of her target when she initiates combat given that her HP ≥ 25%. This will be helpful against teams that rely on buffs to gain an advantage.
Another effect that she gets when she is above the HP threshold is a +6 Atk/Res buff during combat. This works well with her other native skills, Mirror Strike 2, and Atk/Res Link 3 if you choose to keep them on her kit. High levels of Res suggests the use of the mentioned Iceberg or Glacies Special skills.
Orochi's Spd and Def stats are below average compared to other units in the game. She will often be attacked twice due to her Spd, and if her opponent deals physical damage, she may die as a result. Make sure to keep her away from physical foes, especially those that outspeed her.
