When using an Ascendant Floret, we recommend getting the next superboon if it fits the hero. If not, consider what stat your hero needs most.
The best IVs for Citrinne are +Res and -Def. Boosting Res improves upon Citrinne's role as a magic wall and also partially increases her damage output through the true damage effect of Tome of Luxuries.
Citrinne's Def is a clear dump stat, sitting at only base 22. Taking it as a bane is the best option, as Citrinne will take heavy damage from any physical attacker anyway.
We recommend +Res when merging Citrinne up to +10 to improve both her tanking capabilities and her damage output at the same time.

Citrinne makes great use of Atk/Res Finish 4 as it provides sustain and boosts her most important stats. Atk/Res Form 3 is used as Citrinne works well by having nearby allies for Tome of Luxuries' effects.

Citrinne is a ranged magic attacker (range = 2). Therefore, when not accounting for the Weapon Triangle, the amount of damage she deals will be equivalent to her Atk minus the foe's Res stat.
Citrinne's Tome of Luxuries accelerates her Special trigger and grants Special cooldown count -2 at the start of turn one. These effects quickly pre-charge her Special, allowing her to use it immediately.
Additionally, if Citrinne's HP ≥ 25% at the start of turn, Tome of Luxuries applies a 【Bonus】 to Citrinne which grants her a guaranteed follow-up attack.
After start-of-turn skills trigger, Tome of Luxuries takes all 【Bonus】 effects active on Citrinne, including stat bonuses, and applies them to allies within 2 spaces of Citrinne for one turn. The exceptions are any 【Bonus】 effects that grant +1 movement and 【Pathfinder】; these bonuses are not replicated.
In combat, Tome of Luxuries grants Citrinne Atk/Spd/Def/Res+5 and true damage equal to 15% of her Res.
