What Kind of Character Are They? | ・Weapon skill attacks twice, inflicts stat penalties onto foe during combat and grants unit bonus stats, bonus damage, damage reduction, and Null Guard during combat. ・Exclusive Special skill grants a Null damage reduction effect to unit, support partner, and allies with an active 【Bonded】 effect, and grants damage reduction on foe's next attack to unit if unit or foe's Special is ready or triggered before or during combat. |
Might: 11 Range: 1 Accelerates Special trigger (cooldown count-1). Unit attacks twice (even if foe initiates combat, unit attacks twice). If foe's Range = 2, calculates damage using the lower of foe's Def or Res. If unit is within 3 spaces of an ally, grants Atk/Spd/Def/Res+5 to unit, inflicts penalty on foe's Atk/Spd/Def/Res = number of distinct game titles among allies within 3 spaces of unit x 3, + 4 (max 10), unit deals X damage (excluding area-of-effect Specials), reduces damage from foe's first attack by X (X = 5 x the total of the number of distinct game titles among allies, excluding unit, and the number of Engaged allies, excluding unit; max 15; "first attack" normally means only the first strike; for effects that grant "unit attacks twice," it means the first and second strikes), and neutralizes effects that inflict "Special cooldown charge -X" on unit during combat. |
Cooldown Count = 3 Boosts Special damage by 50% of unit's Spd when Special triggers. At start of turn, if unit is not on a team with unit's support partner, grants 【Bonded】 to allies with the highest Atk within 2 spaces of unit. If unit is on a team with their support partner or if an ally has an active 【Bonded】 effect, for unit, support partner, and any allies with an active 【Bonded】 effect, when Special triggers, neutralizes foe's "reduces damage by X%" effects from foe's non-Special skills during combat (excluding area-of-effect Specials). If unit is within 3 spaces of a support partner or an ally with an active 【Bonded】 effect, and unit or foe's Special is ready or triggered before or during this combat, reduces damage from foe's next attack by 40% (once per combat; excluding area-of-effect Specials). 【Bonded】 Grants a status that can trigger certain skill effects to unit for 1 turn. |
If unit is within 3 spaces of an ally, grants Spd/Res+7 to unit during combat, and also, if unit's Special is ready or unit's Special triggered before or during this combat, deals +5 damage during combat (except when dealing damage with area-of-effect Specials) and when unit deals damage during combat, restores 7 HP to unit. (Triggers even if 0 damage is dealt.) |
Inflicts Atk/Spd-4 on foe, neutralizes effects that prevent unit's counterattacks, and reduces damage from foe's first attack by 30% during combat. |
At start of turn, grants Res+6 to unit and allies within 2 spaces of unit for 1 turn. If unit's Res ≥ foe's Res+5 and foe's attack can trigger foe's Special, inflicts Special cooldown count+1 on foe before foe's first attack during combat (cannot exceed the foe's maximum Special cooldown). If it is an even-numbered turn, grants Res+6 to unit during combat. |

When using an Ascendant Floret, we recommend getting the next superboon if it fits the hero. If not, consider what stat your hero needs most.
The best IVs for Summer Alear (F) are +Spd and -HP. Alear's Spd is among the highest in the game, and boosting it will allow her to outspeed a majority of her foes.
All of Alear's stats are relevant; we opted for HP as a bane as it is the easiest stat to patch up through blessings and other bonuses.
We recommend +Spd when merging Summer Alear (F) up to +10 to ensure she remains faster than most, if not all of her foes, even through significant investment.

This build utilizes Alear's very high Spd to quickly attack her foes and defeat them with multiple hits powered by Bond Blast. Mag. Null Follow disables her foe's effects that prevent her follow-up attacks, allowing her to quad attack if she outspeeds them.

Note: Stats bonuses from skills are not taken into account.
Summer Alear (F) is a close magic attacker (range = 1). Therefore, when not accounting for the Weapon Triangle, the amount of damage she deals will be equivalent to her Atk minus the foe's Res stat.
Summer Alear's Maritime Arts attacks twice on both phases, grants Alear Atk/Spd/Def/Res+5 and damage reduction on her foe's first attack equal to 5x the total number of distinct game titles among allies (excluding Alear) and the number of Engaged allies (excluding Alear), inflicts an Atk/Spd/Def/Res penalty onto her foe equal to 4 plus the number of distinct game titles among allies within 3 spaces of Alear, x3 (max penalty of 10), and neutralizes effects that slow down Alear's Special cooldown charges during combat.
Maritime Arts 's effects vary based on the origins of Alear's allies and whether those allies are Engaged with Emblem Hero effects or not. Maximizing this weapon's effects during team selection and before the battle begins is important in ensuring Summer Alear (F) can perform at her best.
Summer Alear (F)'s exclusive Special skill Bond Blast boosts damage by 50% of her Spd whenever it triggers.
More importantly, it grants Alear, her support partner, and any ally with the 【Bonded】 status effect the ability to neutralize their foe's non-Special percentage-based damage reduction effects.
The 【Bonded】 status effect is granted to Alear's allies with the highest Atk within 2 spaces of Alear at the start of each turn if Alear is not on a team with her support partner.
In the future, other skills may apply the 【Bonded】 effect. As of the time of Summer Alear (F)'s release, 【Bonded】 is only found on Bond Blast.
Summer Alear (F) takes 1.5x damage from dragon-effective weapons like Divine Mist, and one blow from this type of weapon will deal significant damage. Make sure you know what weapons you are up against before hopping too far into the line of battle!
