◯ = Stat gains +4 with a superboon, ✕= Stat goes down by -4 with a superbane, - = No assets or flaws
See the IV Checker for All Units | Trait Fruits—How to Change IVs |
When using an Ascendant Floret, we recommend getting the next superboon if it fits the hero. If not, consider what stat your hero needs most.
The best IVs for Ascended Ced are +Spd and -Def. Boosting Spd improves his already high Spd stat and allows him to keep up with the fastest metagame units.
Ced's Def is below average at only base 22 and can be safely taken as a bane.
We recommend +Spd when merging Ascended Ced up to +10 to ensure he keeps up with all the fast metagame units.

Ascended Ced's base kit is already good enough to perform as an offensive unit that can also provide team support with Infantry Pulse. If on a budget, Flare can be replaced by Dragon Fang or just his base kit's Blazing Wind.

Note: Stats bonuses from skills are not taken into account.
Ascended Ced is a ranged magic attacker (range = 2). Therefore, when not accounting for the Weapon Triangle, the amount of damage he deals will be equivalent to his Atk minus the foe's Res stat.
Ascended Ced's exclusive weapon Heired Forseti grants a visible Atk/Spd+6 buff and Special cooldown count -1 at the start of turn, setting him up for a large offensive attack.
In combat, Heired Forseti grants Ced Atk/Spd+6, 30% damage reduction on his foe's first attack, and bonus damage equal to a percentage of his Spd when his Special triggers. The bonus damage is dependent on Ced's max Special cooldown count value; a higher Special cooldown count would lead to more damage, but a lower Special cooldown count would trigger this effect more often.
Ascended Ced's base Def is only at a below average 22, making him prone to defeat from physical damage.
Keep him away from foes that inflict physical damage to maximize his survival.
