The best IVs for S!Palla are +Atk and -Res. Her Atk is a superboon, which means it gives her +4 Atk at Lv.40. This allows her to take out powerful units like L!Hector and Surtr who are both quite common in Aether Raids. Her Def is a superbane and she can afford to take a bane in Res as it is quite high. This makes Res the best boon you can take for S!Palla.

How to Use, Explanation

This build uses the recoil from Fury 4 to activate Desperation and allow consecutive attacks for future engagements. Make sure to keep the unit alive after the first combat since they will be in exploitable HP ranges! If you aren't running Spring Palla in an all-flier team, you can take Spd/Def Rein 3 in the C slot, and Blade Session 3 in the S slot.

S!Palla is a close physical attacker (range = 1). Therefore, when not accounting for the Weapon Triangle, the amount of damage she deals will be equivalent to her Atk minus the foe's Def stat.

Pegasus Carrot+ disables skills that prevent S!Palla's follow-up attacks such as Surtr's Wary Fighter 3. This makes S!Palla a direct counter for armored, low-speed green units like Surtr and L!Hector as her weapon is also effective against armored foes.

When used together with Windsweep 3, it will prevent the foe’s counterattack, and if the foe is at triangle disadvantage, Palla will be able to get a follow-up attack. Even if there are multiple skills that prevent follow-up attacks, Pegasus Carrot will nullify them, as well as the effects of Windswept or other follow-up preventing skills. As long as Palla has Triangle Advantage, foes will become much easier to take out. She struggles against units who are not green, but if used in this fashion, she can be quite powerful in Arena and Aether Raids.

Disarm Traps in Aether Raids

Disarm Trap 3 cancels the effects of Heavy Traps and Bolt Traps in Aether Raids whenever S!Palla ends her movement in them. This carries a lot of strategic value in offensive raids as you can take some routes that would otherwise be unavailable without heavy punishment. Positioning is very important in Aether Raids and this skill can grant you a huge advantage.

Increases the firepower of allied fliers

With her flying-exclusive C skill Hone Fliers, S!Palla can grant Atk/Spd+6 to allied fliers. This makes using her in an all-flying party very easy to take advantage of.

As a flying unit, S!Palla takes 1.5x damage from bows and weapons effective on flying units. Be sure to keep them out of the range of archers and leave them to other units.
