What Kind of Character Are They? | ・Ylisse Ninja Bow grants a Brave effect, bonus stats, bonus damage based on Bonus and Penalty effects, 50% damage reduction piercing, an offensive Tempo effect, and Special cooldown -1 after first Special trigger in combat. ・Future Focus uses Swap, grants Ninja Lucina an extra action, and grants 【Future Witness】 and 【Null Follow-Up】 to allies within 2 spaces of Ninja Lucina and target ally. ・Duo Skill grants an extra action and refreshes Canto. |
Might: 8 Range: 2 Accelerates Special trigger (cooldown count-1). Effective against flying foes. Unit attacks twice (even if foe initiates combat, unit attacks twice). If unit initiates combat or is within 2 spaces of an ally, grants bonus to unit's Atk/Spd/Def/Res = 15% of unit's Spd at start of combat + 5, unit deals +X × 5 damage (max 25; X = number of 【Bonus】 effects active on unit, excluding stat bonuses + number of 【Penalty】 effects active on foe, excluding stat penalties; excluding area-of-effect Specials), reduces the percentage of foe's non-Special "reduce damage by X%" skills by 50% (excluding area-of-effect Specials), and neutralizes effects that inflict "Special cooldown charge -X" on unit during combat, and also, if unit's attack can trigger unit's Special, grants Special cooldown count-1 to unit after first Special trigger per combat (excluding area-of-effect Specials). |
Range: 1 Unit and target ally swap spaces. Grants 【Future Witness】 and 【Null Follow-Up】 to allies within 2 spaces of both unit and target after movement for 1 turn (including unit and target), grants Special cooldown-1 to unit and those allies, and grants another action to unit (once per turn). 【Future Witness】 Enables 【Canto (2)】. Grants Atk/Spd/Def/Res+5 to unit and reduces damage from foe's first attack by 7 during combat ("first attack" normally means only the first strike; for effects that grant "unit attacks twice," it means the first and second strikes), and also, if unit initiates combat and foe's attack can trigger foe's Special, inflicts Special cooldown count+1 on foe before foe's first attack during combat (cannot exceed the foe's maximum Special cooldown). |
Cooldown Count = 2 Boosts Special damage by 30% of the greater of foe's Spd or Def. If unit's or foe's Special is ready or unit's or foe's Special triggered before or during this combat and if unit can attack during combat, reduces damage from foe's next attack by 40% (once per combat; excluding area-of-effect Specials). |
If unit initiates combat, deals 7 damage to foe as combat begins (effects that reduce damage "during combat" do not apply; will not reduce foe's HP below 1), grants Atk/Spd+7 to unit during combat, and applies 【Divine Vein (Flame)】 on 5 spaces in a line centered on foe's space (oriented left to right based on the direction unit is facing) for 1 turn after combat. 【Divine Vein (Flame)】 Applies the following effects on space: Acts as difficult terrain for foes with Range = 2 (moving over this space costs +1 movement; movement cost cannot exceed unit's allowed movement; "cannot be slowed by terrain" effects do not apply). At start of enemy phase, deals 7 damage to foe, and also, as combat begins, deals an additional 7 damage to foe (effects that reduce damage "during combat" do not apply; will not reduce foe's HP below 1). (Divine Vein effects do not stack; replaces any existing Divine Vein effect; Divine Vein effects applied simultaneously cancel each other out.) |
Inflicts Spd/Def-4 on foe during combat. If a movement Assist skill (like Reposition, Shove, Pivot, etc.) is used by unit or targets unit, inflicts 【Exposure】 on closest foes within 5 spaces of both unit and target ally or unit and targeting ally after movement and foes within 2 spaces of those foes through their next actions. Inflicts Spd/Def-5 on foes on the map with the 【Exposure】 effect active and neutralizes bonuses to Spd/Def for those foes during combat. |
When Canto triggers, enables unit to use 【Reposition】 on ally (this effect is not treated as an Assist skill; if similar effects are active, this effect does not trigger). If unit is within 3 spaces of an ally, grants Atk/Spd/Def/Res+3 to unit during combat and restores 7 HP to unit after combat. 【Reposition】 Range = 1. Target moves to opposite side of unit. |
Duo Skill |
---|
Grants unit another action, and if Canto has already been triggered, re-enables Canto. (May be used only if unit has already entered combat during the current turn.) (Duo Skills can be used once per map by tapping the Duo button. Duo Skills cannot be used by units deployed using Pair Up.) |
Duel |
---|
If unit is 5★ and level 40 and unit's stats total less than 215, treats unit's stats as 215 in modes like Arena. (Higher-scoring opponents will appear. Stat total calculation excludes any values added by merges and skills.) |

See the IV Checker for All Units | Trait Fruits—How to Change IVs |
When using an Ascendant Floret, we recommend getting the next superboon if it fits the hero. If not, consider what stat your hero needs most.
The best IVs for Ninja Lucina are +Spd and -Res. Ninja Lucina's Spd is among the highest in the game at base 48, raised to base 52 with a superboon. Boosting Spd helps her create follow-up attacks against her foes and prevent follow-up attacks from fast metagame foes.
Ninja Lucina's Res is her least important stat at only base 24 and can be safely taken as a bane.
We recommend +Spd when merging Ninja Lucina up to +10 to ensure she wins the Spd check against her foes.

Ninja Lucina's base kit already provides significant offensive pressure, especially with Spd/Def Detect debuffing enemies after she uses Future Focus.

Ninja Lucina is a ranged physical attacker (range = 2). Therefore, when not accounting for the Weapon Triangle, the amount of damage she deals will be equivalent to her Atk minus the foe's Def stat.
Ninja Lucina's exclusive Ylisse Ninja Bow has a built-in Brave effect and grants the following effects in combat:
Ylisse Ninja Bow may look simple at a quick glance, but can be quite deadly if maximized properly. A brave attack with +25 true damage on each hit along with an unhindered Special due to offensive Tempo can heavily dent, or even outright defeat, almost any unit in the game.
The bulk of Ninja Lucina's strength comes from her exclusive assist, Future Focus.
Future Focus is a Swap that grants Ninja Lucina an extra action (similar to Future Vision from her other alts).
The main difference is that Future Focus grants the 【Future Witness】 and 【Null Follow-Up】 status effects to allies within 2 spaces of Ninja Lucina and the target ally being swapped, including themselves, and grants Special cooldown -1 to Ninja Lucina and the target ally.
【Future Witness】 is a new status effect that grants the affected unit 【Canto (2)】, Atk/Spd/Def/Res+5 during combat, 7 damage reduction on the foe's first attack during combat, and applies a Scowl effect to the foe.
Together with Ninja Lucina's Spd/Def Detect on her base kit which inflicts 【Exposure】 onto the closest foes after using an assist and Spd/Def-5 in combat to foes with 【Exposure】, Ninja Lucina is best utilized by activating Future Focus on each turn before she enters combat to greatly buff up herself and her allies.
Ninja Lucina also has a Duo Skill that refreshes her action upon use.
Unlike the Duo Skills of other Ninja units like Ninja Corrin (F) or Ninja Laegjarn, Ninja Lucina's Duo Skill also refreshes her ability to use Canto, making her Duo Skill a strict upgrade over the others.
Ninja Lucina takes 1.5x damage from cavalry-effective weapons like Thani or Binding Reginleif, and one blow from this type of weapon will deal significant damage. Make sure you know what weapons you are up against before hopping too far into the line of battle!
