+Spd/-Res

The best IVs for Young Robin (M) are +Spd and -Res. Boosting Spd with the aid of a superboon helps Robin create follow-up attacks against his foes and avoid follow-up attacks from the fast metagame foes.

Robin's Res is abysmal at only base 16 and no amount of investment will protect him from half-decent magic damage attackers. Taking Res as a bane is the best option.

+Spd for a +10 merge

We recommend +Spd when merging Young Robin (M) up to +10 to ensure he maintains his Spd advantage against his foes.

How to Use, Explanation

Young Robin (M)'s base kit already allows him to perform his job as an offensive attacker well. We opted for Blade Session 3 because it provides the most Atk/Spd bonuses on the Sacred Seal slot, especially with his warp effect allowing him to clean up after his allies have already initiated.

Young Robin (M)'s Fell War Tome has a built-in Flared Sparrow effect where it deals 7 pre-combat damage and applies 【Divine Vein (Flame)】 terrain.

Instead of simply Atk/Spd+7, Fell War Tome grants Atk/Spd/Def/Res bonuses based on his foe's max Special cooldown count value (with a minimum bonus of Atk/Spd/Def/Res+8).

Fell War Tome also grants Robin 30% damage reduction on his foe's first attack, neutralizes effects that slow down Robin's Special cooldown charges in combat, and pierces through non-Special damage reduction effects if Robin triggers an offensive Special with cooldown count value 3 or more when he attacks.

Tip the Scales! grants 【Rally Spectrum】 to himself and nearby allies

Young Robin (M) also carries Tip the Scales!, which was previously exclusive to Brave Robin (M).

This skill grants 【Rally Spectrum】 to himself and his nearby allies at the start of each turn.

【Rally Spectrum】 grants Atk/Spd/Def/Res+5 to the affected unit during combat and if that unit has an offensive Special, reduces their Special cooldown count before their first attack. Units with an accelerated Special trigger and units with brave effects get their cooldown reduced by 1, while units with neither effect get their cooldown reduced by 2.

【Rally Spectrum】 is a very powerful effect that makes affected units trigger their Specials more reliably, improving their combat performance and potentially knocking out their foes due to the immediate Special trigger.

Tip the Scales! also allows Young Robin (M) to warp to a space adjacent to any ally within 5 spaces that has the 【Rally Spectrum】status, extending his range further than most units!

Young Robin (M)'s Res stat is very low at only base 16, and this won't save him from powerful magic damage attacks.
