Chat with Yixuan Shifu
After getting the tour of the busy districts of Waifei Peninsula with Ju Fufu, chat with Yixuan Shifu at the Suibian Temple. There, you'll see all your seniors, as well as Damian Blackwood, head of Porcelumex.
Investigate the Production Accident
To investigate the production accident, head out and look for the workers involved in it. One of the Idle Workers will tell you to speak to Paulo and Eric, who's just around the block. After getting the information from Paulo, return to Suibian Temple and find Yixuan.
Have a Late Night Chat with Yixuan
Afterwards, have a late night chat with Yixuan who's gonna regulate your meridians to help you become sensitive and perceptive to Ether frequency. Exhaust the dialogue to progress the quest.
Meet up with Paulo by the Cable Car
On the next morning, meet up with Paulo by the Cable Car to enter the Lemnian Hollow and meet the rest of the workers who are familiar with the production accident. This part of the quest is a Hollow Exploration which loans you a trial version of Yixuan and Ju Fufu!
Investigate the Scene of the Accident
As soon you enter the battle grounds, press forward until you spot a mob which also introduces Ju Fufu's combat tutorial. Clear out the enemies using Yixuan and Ju Fufu, then move along.
Head to the Target Location
To head to the target location, continue moving forward until you have covered a considerable distance from the area where you first encountered the first mob. A combat tutorial for Miasma Growths should pop up once you're in the target location, so simply defeat the enemies once more to continue.
Enter the Sunken Passage
Once you've mopped the floor with the Ethereals, enter the Sunken Passage, located just past the Fissure Beacon. As you continue along the passageway, Yixuan will teach you the Perception Technique, Insight, which lets you track Ether Traces.
Use Insight to Find the Door Controls
To use Insight to find the door controls, simply press R (or touch the Perception Technique button) to enter this special state, then interact with the trolley in front of you marked with bubbles of Ether. Then, follow the Ethereal traces that should lead to the door just around the corner.
Chat with Senior Yinhu
Afterwards, pass through the factory area, then chat with Senior Yinhu. This brief encounter also serves as the tutorial for Fissure Beacons, which are teleportation markers located across the whole area. These beacons also heal and deplete Corruption affliction on your team, so we recommend resting by one, every now and then!
Defeat the Enemy Guards
Once you've confirmed the location of the production area with the Bangboo Faith, defeat the enermy guards along the way, then ride the elevator to reach the next level.
Investigate the Tower and Collect Intel
After getting out of the elevator, you'll see a solid formation of Ether blocking your way. Yixuan then teaches you the Disintegrate ability, which lets you destroy these crystals by detecting their weak spots. Simply enter the special attack state, then scan the crystal until you see its weak spot. Press F or simply touch the Special Attack button to disintegrate it.
There are two Ether Crystals blocking your way including the first one you've encountered, so simply repeat the steps to remove the second crystal using your ability.
Exchange Intel with Senior Yinhu
Once you've disintegrated both crystals, defeat the enemies before you, then investigate the boxes that have strong traces of Ether to them. Afterwards, ride the nearest elevator, and exchange intel with Senior Yinhu once more.
Continue Moving Deeper
From Senior Yinhu's location, continue going forward until you spot the Bangboo Faith standing by a bunch of Ether Crystals. To continue moving deeper, simply Disintegrate the crystals then give the Toolkit to Bangboo Faith to gain access on the nearby locked door.
Defeat the Ethereal Blocking the Way
Open the locked door using the Access Card from the Bangboo, then move along the passageway, until you spot an enemy. Defeat the Ethereal blocking the way, then move along.
Find the Drawbridge Controls
After defeating the Ethereal, disintegrate the crystals to your right, then descend the pathway towards the drawbridge controls. You'll have to solve the Ether Tuning puzzle to activate the drawbridge, which you can easily to by adjusting the curve in a way that the sphere touches all the points in the diagram.
Defeat the Hollow Raiders Again
Once done, ride the platform to the other side, until you reach next the Fissure Beacon. There you'll see the Bangboo Faith, once more, as well as a bunch of enemies looming nearby. Defeat the Hollow Raiders blocking the way again, then talk to Senior Yinhu about the situation.
Head to the Source of the Outbreak
Then, chat with Dr. Lohr nearby about your current intel, as well as his listen to his request. At the doctor's behest, head to the source of the outbreak to collect samples, and the defeat the enemies. Continue pounding them one by one, then talk to Dr. Lohr once more about the samples.
Return Suibian Temple
After piecing together all the clues, return to Siubian Temple and talk Yixuan Shifu once more.
