Hidden Quest From Hollow Zero

Symbiosis is a hidden combat commission that you can unlock after finding three Lost Items from the Old Capital in Hollow Zero.

Find Three Lost Items From the Old Capital in Hollow Zero

The Symbiosis commission can be unlocked once you find all three Lost Items From the Old Capital in Hollow Zero. For Symbiosis, the items will appear after getting all items for The Hollows Bank and The Sanctuary.

Reset the Stage to Get Lost Items Faster

Lost items are collected from Secret Path tiles in Hollow Zero, and you can get up to 3 items per day. You do not need to complete Hollow Zero stages to obtain Lost Items as quitting lets you keep them.

We recommend loading up a stage like Old Capital Metro: Frontline or Interior, checking if a Secret Path tile is present, and exiting and reloading the stage again until the Secret Path tile is present.

Pay 2,500 Gear Coins to Weird Girl

One of the encounters is with a Weird Girl asking for 2,500 Gear Coins. Collect 2,500 coins in a single run and keep going until she appears on another floor. Due to the randomness of the encounter, it's possible she won't appear again in the run. You can keep trying again or choose a different stage like the Construction Ruins or harder stages to increase the chance she reappears.

Pay 5,000 Gear Coins in Total

For the last item needed to unlock the Symbiosis commission, you'll encounter the Weird Girl again. This time, you need to pay her a total of 5,000 Gear Coins. This can be spread out through multiple runs. You can get Gear Coins through events, defeating Ethereals, and by collecting them.

Talk to Biologist

Afterwards, talk to Biologist, also known as Scholar Studying Symbiosis, in Scott Outpost to receive the commission on the HDD.

How to Beat Symbiosis

2. Defeat Enemies Inside the Ring
3. Retrurn to Biologist

Destroy 50 Obstacles

The first portion for Symbiosis requires you to destroy 50 obstacles. We recommend ignoring the enemies that spawn and focus on breaking the boxes and canisters scattered throughout the stage.

Defeat Enemies Inside the Ring

Once the area is clear, secure the blue ring around the device by standing inside it and defeating enemies that go inside.

The goal for S-rank is to reach 100% on the progress bar before the clock hits 2 minutes, so prioritize enemies found inside the ring first!

Retrurn to Biologist

After completing combat, return to Scott Outpost and talk to Biologist to complete the commission.
