Group Enemies Together
Multiple waves in the first half consist of groups of enemies. Try to keep them together with proper positioning or use abilities like Astra's Basic Attack: Finale to pull targets to one spot and take them all out at once.
Use Dodge Counters
The Doppelganger enemies can defend and even dodge your attacks. Wait for the Doppelgangers to attack and use Dodge Counters to guarantee your attacks on them.
