The enemies in the first half of Ambush Node 1 are weak to Fire but resistant to Electric. Proxies can feel free to form their parties accordingly, so long as they avoid Electric units at all costs.

A Mono-Fire Team will work wonders for this half. If you wish for a bit more variety, you can swap out Soldier 11 with Zhu Yuan for Ether DMG and for her extremely high DMG output.

The second half of Ambush Node 1 offers more variety as its enemies are weak to Ice and Physical and are not resistant to any other Attribute.

A Mono-Ice Team is a highly viable option, with Ellen being replaceable with Corin to hit both Ice and Physical weaknesses. You may also go for the Physical route and rely on Assault to eliminate targets quickly!

How to Beat Ambush Node 1

Ambush Node 1 First Half

Target the Frenzied Maniac First

Target the Frenzied Maniac First

When large threats work together, it would be wise to gauge which one is more dangerous and eliminate that target first. In this case, you should prioritize the Frenzied Maniac first while keeping the Wicked Wraith in your sights.

The Maniac is much faster and more aggressive than the Wraith and will swipe at you every chance it gets. Thankfully, both of them are melee units, so grouping them together should be no problem for you.

Eliminate the Bulky Enforcer First

Eliminate the Bulky Enforcer First

Between the Bulky Hollow Thugs, the Enforcer has easier attack patterns to predict and presents more opportunities for Chain Attacks. Use this to eliminate it quickly, then proceed with the Intimidator.
