Frontier Effects
•　Increases Daze inflicted by Defensive Assists by 100%, and Assist Follow-Up DMG by 150%. Upon launching a Chain Attack, gain one extra Assist Point. •　Elite/Boss enemies will obtain an attribute Shield equal to 30%/15% of their max HP. Attacking Shielded enemies with their Attribute Weaknesses increases DMG by 100%.

How to Beat Shiyu Defense 7

Shiyu Defense 7 First Half

Attack the Scout Jaegers in Wave 1

In Wave 1, prioritize on taking out the Scout Jaegers since the Harrier Jaeger can get close to you. This will keep all three enemies close and making it easier to attack them in a closer space.

Avoid the Bombs in Wave 2

Wave 2 is pretty simple to beat since all you have to do is defeat one enemy. The Heavy Gunner will drop traps on the floor, so make sure to avoid those before they detonate and deal damage.

Dodge the Laser in Wave 3

The laser of the Guardian MK II cannot be parried, so make sure to dodge in time to minimize as much damage as possible.

Shiyu Defense 7 Second Half

Dodge the Charged Attack in Wave 2

The Farbauti enemy will charge up and then unleash a stomping attack to deal massive damage. This attack cannot be parried, so do your best to dodge it to prevent taking damage.

Keep an Eye on the 3-Hit Combo in Wave 3

Thanatos can unleash a 3-hit combo attack. The first two hits cannot be parried, but the third hit can be parried via Defensive Assist.
