Activate Rift Anchors, open Mystical Crates, and clear Securement Silos to get Stardust Source in Once Human. Read on to learn how to get Stardust Source, its effects, and what you can craft with Stardust Source!
List of Contents
One easy way of getting Stardust Source is activating Rift Anchors found all across the map. Once you get access to a region in the map, try to activate Rift Anchors to get not only some Energy Links and experience, but also Stardust Source!
Interactive Map and All Locations Guide
Do note that Rift Anchors in regions outside of your current story progression cannot be activated unless you clear the region's Monolith boss.
This means that you won't be able to activate any Rift Anchors found in mid or late game regions early on, but you can always come back and activate Rift Anchors in regions that you have already cleared.
Along with Rift Anchors, it is also useful to hunt for Mystical Crates within locations in a region.
Not only will they contain useful loot like materials and blueprints, these crates will also net you some Stardust Sources!
All Mystical Crate and Blueprint Locations
Securement Silos are dungeon-like locations which hold materials to get, crates to open, and enemies to defeat.
Clearing these dungeons will net you with some Stardust Source and other useful loot, provided that you have Controllers which allows you to get more rewards than normal.
Defeating bosses found inside Monoliths will also reward you with Stardust Source. Similar with Securement Silos, you also need to consume Controllers to get these as a reward after defeating the boss.
Stardust Source is also purchasable from Nisa, a girl with a jellyfish head, who can be found in most settlements like Deadsville.
You can purchase this material from Nisa for 6 Sproutlets per Stardust Source. You can get Sproutlets by participating in Cargo Scramble and Highway Pursuit events.
Do note that Nisa will only sell up to 10,000 Stardust Sources per season.
If you have the Oil Processing Memetic Specialization, you will be able to get a formula for Stardust Source, which allows you to process the material in an Electric Furnace with Stardust Ores and Portable Mixed Fuel.
Stardust Ores can be mined from Startrace Ores, which are iridescent ores found inside areas that have a Stardust Pollution level of 100 or higher.
