GOY - How to Get Guns
There are two guns you can unlock by completing their related questlines in Ghost of Yotei. Find out how to get guns, and what quests you need to complete to get them.

How to Get Guns

Progress the Saito Brothers Questline for the Tanegashima Matchlock

GOY - Use the Musket
After arriving at Oshima Coast, near the start of Chapter 2. You, Jubei, and Oyuki will rescue a village overrun with Saito's men. To rescue the hostages, Jubei will ask you to take the musket, a Tanegashima Matchlock, and cover for him while he rescues the settlers.

The gun will become a permanent part of your arsenal from now on. Upgrades can be made through Matchlock Murata after you complete the Guns and Consequences Sensei Tale.

Complete the Guns and Consequences Sensei Tale for the Tanzutsu

GOY - Matchlock Murata
To get the Tanzutsu, find Matchlock Murata and complete the Guns and Consequences Sensei Tale. His workshop is located northwest of the Karatsu River on the Oshima Coast.

During the quest, you will receive the Tanzutsu, a sidearm that functions as a quickfire weapon.
