Use the Kusarigama

The Kusarigama is the best weapon to use against shields because it is the weapon aligned to shields. This means that it deals massive stagger damage and is highly effective in breaking them.

How to Get the Kusarigama

Throw Fallen Weapons

Throwing Fallen Weapons has a high chance of one-shotting enemies with shields. From our team's experience, throwing weapons at shielded enemies has always killed them.

You can disarm enemies or counter their disarm attacks to use the fallen weapons against shielded enemies.

How to Disarm

Use Parries and Heavy Attacks to Stagger

Parrying and Heavy Attacks are also great against shielded enemies. Though they're not as efficient as the first two methods mentioned, it is still a reliable way of defeating shielded enemies.

Staggering a shielded enemy breaks their shield, making them open for more attacks.
