|
All of Atsu's melee weapons can be upgraded upon visiting your Father's Forge. The common materials you need here are Metal and Oni Raider Mask Pieces!
As for Bows, you can upgrade them by interacting with Ran the Bowyer after the Old Inn quest at her shop or by selecting her as your camp companion during a rest. Since you will not upgrade it yourself, you will need to provide her with some coins and wood.
To upgrade your Blind and Scorch Bomb, you will need to interact with Ina the Bomb Maker after the Bomb Maker quest at her shop or by selecting her as your camp companion during a rest. You will need to pay her with some coins and provide her with Black Powder as material.
Ina the Bomb Maker Location and Inventory
Guns can be upgraded by interacting with Matchlock Murata or by selecting him as your camp companion during a rest. You will need to pay him with some coins and provide Gun Parts as material.
Matchlock Murata Location and Services
No other weapon is stronger than the other, but some will fare better against certain foes. For example, an Odachi will easily cut down larger foes, but struggle with enemies that are swift. It would be best to utilize Atsu's whole arsenal to take on the Yotei Six!
While it is advantageous to swap around weapons based on your enemies, the game itself does not punish you for sticking to a specific weapon or playstyle you are interested in. Designing a kit around what you like most will always be the best option!
