Different Armor Provide Different Bonuses and are Upgraded by Ginji

You'll be able to visit Ginji the Armorer to upgrade Atsu's gear. Just like Ran, he is also part of Atsu's wolf pack, and can be found at Shadow Yotei Inn. As there are multiple different kinds of armor, they each have their own unique improvements.

The Armor of the Undying is an incredibly powerful armor, that can be obtained and fully upgraded after delving to Ishikari Plain. On top of being able to obtain pretty early on, the upgrade price is well worth the cost as it will allow you to dominate your enemies pretty easily.
