The Heart of an Ainu Walkthrough
1. Speak to Huci at Husko Kotan
Huci is waiting for you at Husko Kotan, just a few meters north if the North Ferry. Make your way there and speak to her to learn of side job as a thief hunter.
2. Meet Huci Near Nayoro Falls and Follow Her
Huci will ask for you to meet her near Nayoro Falls. She is located just southeast of the North Ferry, in a clearing in the forest. Once you're there, speak to her and follow her up the trail.
Along the way, you'll meet with kaeka, a friend of huci's, stating that her home has been ransacked and robbed by theives.
3. Investigate Kaeka's Home
Proceed to the village and investigate kaeka's home. Speak to her husband who is just on the other side of the river to know more about what happened.
Enter her house and ook for clues as to who the thieves are, what they took, and where they went. After investigating all the clues, head back out and speak to kaeka.
You and huci will deduce that the thieves stole bark strips and are likely not Ainu, since they have no clue of the importance of the bark strips.
4. Follow the Trail of Bark Strips
Huci will lead this time, but just in case you get lost, follow the bark strips left behind by the thieves. This should lead you to a ravine and a mountainside where the thieves may be hiding.
5. Make Your Way Past the Ravine
| 5.1 |  Slide down the slope in front of you then use the fallen tree as a bridge to cross to the other side. |
|---|---|
| 5.2 |  Use the handholds provided to make your way left, hopping onto a branch in between, until you make it to the next platform. |
| 5.3 |  Look to the left to spot more handholds on the cliff on the other side of the ravine. Jump to them, climb up, then cross the fallen tree. |
| 5.4 |  At the end of the tree, jump to the next set of handholds and shimmy to the right, using branches along the way. Climb up the last set of handholds ahead. |
| 5.5 |  Look to your right to spot several branches you can hop onto. Keep moving from branch to branch, then spot a grapple point on the final one. Latch onto it and swing to the other side. |
| 5.6 |  Move forward and into the tunnel. Follow it and squeze through the gap in the wall at the end. |
6. Chase After the Thief
You'll spot the thief at the top of the cliff ahead. Climb up the handholds, slide down the slope, and catch up to him. Watch the cutscenes then follow huci back to the kotan to close the quest.

Completing this quest will have huci reward you with the Robes for Sitturaynu armor, specifically designed for exploration and finding collectibles!

Additionally, huci will give you the Traveller's Dawn Headband vanity headpiece.

Access the North Ferry
The North Ferry can be accessed by talking to huci and riding the boat from the Central Ferry. This is done as part of the Kitsune Quest.
