Ghost of Yotei - All Director Modes

Kurosawa Mode

Ghost of Yotei - Kurosawa Mode
Kurosawa mode enables a black and white film grain with audio filter and increased wind effect inspired by one of the most influential filmmakers, Akira Kurosawa.

Miike Mode

Ghost of Yotei - Miike Mode
Miike mode closes in the camera more during combat and increases the blood and mud effect to emulate some of Takashi Miike's films like 13 Assassins.

Watanabe Mode

Turn on audio to hear Watanabe Mode

Watanabe mode changes the music played during exploration and combat with original lo-fi tracks created by Shinichiro Watanabe, director of Samurai Champloo.

How to Turn On a Director Mode

Configure at the Start the Game

Director Mode at the Start

Players can immediately access these modes by starting a new game and choosing from the three available director modes.

Enable the Director Mode in the Display Settings

Director Modes in settings

To turn on a director mode, go to your games Display settings. Scroll down the list and you will see an option for Kurosawa Mode, Miike Mode, and Watanabe Mode.

Select the Director Mode you want and toggle the option from off to on.

You Can Use All Modes at the Same Time

You can use all the director mode at the same time. Depending on your preference you pick and choose which style suites your taste.
