Kusarigama Questline
The Way of the Kusarigama

| 1.1 |  Look for Enomoto at the Owl Mountain located at the northernmost part of Teshio Ridge. Follow the golden bird until you see Master Enomoto killing a Nine Tails shinobi. |
| 1.2 |  Assassinate the remaining Nine Tails with Master Enomoto after talking to him. It would be best to kill them quietly, but you can always face them head-on if you want. |
| 1.3 |  Take the Kusarigama from the Owl Statue after the fight and the cutscene. Practice with it by hitting the bamboo and the bear statues. After that, test is on the Nine Tails in the next area. |
| 1.4 |  Make your way to the dojo after practicing with the Kusarigama. It should be straightforward, but be careful with your jumps or you will fall. |
| 1.5 |  Continue your training and learn the Ferocious Whirlwind. After that, Master Enomoto will ask you to take a chilly, cold bath to strengthen your willpower. Spar with Master Enomoto in the morning after the intense training. Apply what you've learn so far to beat him. |
| 1.6 |  Follow Master Enomoto after the cutscene and use your Spyglass to find more Nine Tails. The quest will conclude after this and you'll unlock The Path of the Kusarigama. |
The Way of the Kusarigama Walkthrough
The Path of the Kusarigama

| 2.1 | Go to the Snow Drift Springs Hideout located west of Crimson Forest. Solve the puzzle once you get there to access the hideout. Once inside, eliminate all enemies and free the prisoners to liberate the hideout. |
| 2.2 | Head to Soya Port next, which is located northeast of Sarufutsu River. Do the same thing and liberate this place from the Nine Tails. |
| 2.3 | After liberating the the two hideouts, learn a Kusarigama Skill from the altar to complete the quest. You will also unlock The Kusarigama's Shame afterward. |
The Path of the Kusarigama Walkthrough
The Kusarigama's Shame

| 3.1 | Return to the dojo and learn the Claw and Talon Technique from Master Enomoto. |
| 3.2 | Follow Master Enomoto after to defeat his grandson along with other Nine Tails. Afterwards, go back to the dojo and complete Master Enomoto's challenge. |
| 3.3 | You will need to unlock all Kusarigama skills to complete the challenge. Visit Altar of Reflections to get all the skills unlocked. After that, return to the dojo and hit the stone statue to complete the challenge and this quest. You will also unlock the A Land Reforged quest after this. |
The Kusarigama's Shame Walkthrough

| 4.1 | A Land Reforged will start on liberating the remaining Nine Tails Hideouts. Complete all of them and talk to Master Enomoto after. |
| 4.2 | You can find Master Enomoto at the Red Crane Inn. Talk to him and watch the cutscene. |
| 4.3 | After the cutscene, head outside the inn and talk to all the villagers you helped on this questline. You will get A Path of Flowers dye for your Shamisen from the Black Dye Merchant afterward.
This should conclude the Kusarigama questline. |
The Winter Farms

| 1 |  Liberate one of Hana's Farms from the Nine Tails to start the quest. After that, all of the other farms will be mark, so liberate them as well. Hana will teach you how to use the Kunai and upgrade it right off the bat after clearing one of her farms. |
| 2 | Talk to Hana after helping the other farms. She will give you the Charm of Burning Blades as a reward for helping her. |
The Blind Stranger

| 1 | Go to Nakajima Sake House and help the ronin inside. You will notice that he is blind once you talk to him. |
| 2 | After accepting his request, follow and guide him home. He will get lost, but he will ask you to lead him to a boulder so he can remember the way. Continue following him after that. |
| 3 | You will eventually fall into his trap and another ronin will come out. Eliminate the new ronin and talk to the blind ronin after. He will plead for his life and give you all Metsubushi he has. |

Secrets of the Heart

| 1 | Look for the arrow with a note along the Teshio River near Hana's Farm. Investigate the nearby area to find clues. |
| 2 | Follow the river to the east until you see a small homestead surrounded by Nine Tails. Assassinate them to secure the area. |
| 3 | Enter the house from the window on the second floor to find Taizo. You will get the Charm of Raining Arrows from him. More Nine Tails will show up after, so use the charm and your bow to eliminate them. |
| 4 | Mount your horses and ride with Taizo and Ran the Bowyer. Kill enemies along the way while still using the Charm of Raining Arrows until you get to the specified location. |

How to Unlock A Haunted Land
Finish the Main Story
A Haunted Land will only unlock after finishing the main story of Ghost of Yotei. It will automatically appear after the credits and the final cutscene.
