| 1.1 |  Defeat Takezo's Disciples at the five Dueling Trees. Each disciple will drop a Charm once you defeat them. 1. South of Shikotsu River (Unrelenting Warrior) 2. Northwest of Yotei River (Renewed Determination) 3. West of Tokachi Range (Bold Deflection) 4. South of Tomamu Marshlands (Bracing Victory) 5. Nikappu Falls (Stout Heart) ► Takezo's Disciple Locations |
| 1.2 |  Find and wait for Takezo in the southwest area of Lake Kuttara. Wait for the cutscene to finish once he arrives and follow him on the coast. |
| 1.3 |  After following him, defeat him in a duel. You will learn Takezo's Dual Slash after winning the duel. |

2. The Five Teachings

| 2.1 | After completing the Takezo the Unrivaled, equip all the Charms from his disciples. After that, head to Mount Yotei to look for Takezo again. |
| 2.2 |  Climb to the summit of Mount Yotei. The way to the top is straightforward, but it will be lengthy. You can also visit the shrine first and get the Mother's Charm and the Father's Charm. ► All Shrine Climb Locations |
| 2.3 |  Wait by the campfire and duel Takezo again. Takezo will be a lot stronger from when you first fight him, so make sure you are well prepared before the fight. You will get the Gilded Dawn, Gilded Night, and Straw Hat of the Unrivaled after defeating him.
