1. Follow the Settler and Find Daichi
After accepting the job from the settler, folow him on horseback to a location nearby where there are statues with masks. Follow these statues and collect the coins on them along the way to find the first horse, Daichi.
2. Rescue Umi
| 2.1 |  Follow the settler again to another site with statues. Face the three statues and turn left to find Umi. Approach Umi and free the horse. |

| 2.2 |  Defeat the Oni Raiders who claim to have found Umi. During the fight, stay close to the settler and defend him from the enemies, as they may attack him if you stray too far. |
| 2.3 |  After defeating the Oni Raiders, follow the settler and the two horses to a location nearby to receive your payment. |

Accept the Settler's Request
Reach the cliff to the northwest of Ishikari Fork and accept the job from the settler. You should see him northwest from the Reliquary of Strength in the area.
