1. Go to the Zabuton and Enter a Memory
| 1.1 |  As you enter the gardens, veer a little to the left and follow the stream until you reach a lantern overlooking it right next to a woven zabuton. Notice the haze on the zabuton, so approach it and enter a memory. |

| 1.2 |  You'll enter a dialogue with your mother, where you'll be given a dialogue choice. It doesn't matter which one you choose, as you'll follow your mother to cut some overgrown bamboo all over the garden. |
2. Go to the Tree by the Gate and Enter A Memory
| 2.1 |  After interacting with your mother for trimming the bamboo, head to the gate in front of you and enter a memory by the tree. |

| 2.2 |  Pick up the pot with fish eggs and follow your mother to the pond. This will trigger a cutscene where the koi will jump out of the water. |
3. Go to the Central Bridge and Enter A Memory
| 3.1 |  The final memory is in the center of the gardens by the foot of a stone bridge. Find the haze in front of you after the koi fishes activity, and enter the memory. |

| 3.2 |  Follow your mother back to the pond to a piece of land where you trimmed one of the bamboos. Interact with the ground to plant the sapling, and enter a cutscene back in the present with Master Heijiro. |
4. Follow Master Heijiro and Learn the Song
You and Master Heijiro will stop at the house on the cliff overlooking the entire garden. He will ask Atsu to play her shamisen for him.
Play the shamisen for Master Heijiro and show him what you've learned. Watch the ensuing cutscenes, and you will be rewarded with the Song of Spirit, concluding the quest.
