You can solve the Snow Drift Springs Shrine, or initially known as the Coastal Structures, puzzle by lighting up the fox statues that matches the pose of the statue behind them. How to Solve Snow Drift Shrine Puzzle
Light the Fox Statues that Matches Pose of the Statue Behind
To solve the fox puzzle outside the Snow Drift Shrine Hideout, you must light up the fox statues that matches the post of the fox statue behind. There are three sets of fox statues in total to open the gate leading to the hideout.
Snow Drift Springs Hideout Walkthrough
1. Light Three Fox Statues to Open the Hideout Gate
Open the Coastal Structures hideout entrance by lighting the fox statues that match the pose of the statue behind them. There are three sets of fox statues you need to activate in order to proceed into the hideout. You can use the torch found beside the hideout gate to light the statues.
2. Enter the Gate and Make Your Way to the End of the Cave
Crawl through the gate that opens after solving the fox puzzle. Climb down the ladder and follow the wooden ledges, which will lead you to the opposite end of the cave where you’ll find the Snow Drift Spring Hideout.
3. Clear the Snow Drift Spring Hideout Camp
Clear the Snow Drift Spring Hideout by eliminating all Kitsune members. For an easier approach, we recommend taking them out one by one using stealth. The best route is from the right side of the hideout, where most enemies will have their backs turned, making it easier to perform assassinations.
4. Light The Last Set of Fox Statues to Reach the Altar
After clearing the hideout, you will find the final set of fox puzzles to solve. Similar to the entrance, light the fox statues that matches the pose of the statues behind them. This will activate a rope, allowing you to reach your rewards in the form of loot, a puzzle box, and access to an Altar of Reflection.
Snow Drift Springs Shrine Location
West of the Crimson Forest
Snow Drift Springs Shrine is located west of the Crimson Forest. You can find the Crimson Forest in the Teshio Ridge region, which can be unlocked during the Kitsune storyline.
