How to Use Loadouts

Loadouts in Ghost of Yotei are tools for the player to quickswap between armor and charm set ups quickly for whatever situation they need it for. See here for a guide on how to unlock and how to use loadouts efficiently!

Unlock the Loadout Option by Having More Than One Armor

Unlock Loadouts

The loadout option will not unlock until after you have more than one armor in your inventory, though it may already be unlocked for deluxe edition owners.

More loadouts will unlock the more armor sets you obtain, and the easiest armor to obtain to start you out is Taro's Armor. Get the armor set from Taro, who may be found randomly joining your camp or around the Yotei Shadow Inn.

Unlock Up to 6 Loadout Slots

Loadout 6

Players can now unlock up to 6 slots of loadout in the game starting Patch 1.100.000. If you already have 6 or more armor before this patch, you will see another one from the Gear tab once you're done updating the game.

Use Loadouts to Quickswap Between Different Builds

Having multiple loadouts

Using loadouts effectively can save you a lot of time switching between armor and charms. You can set special loadouts built for stealth, or built around a specific playstyle, like making use of an armor and charms involving sake.

It's important to note that charms also save on each loadout, and are crucial in making a build work. Set powerful charms that compliment each other to make full use of the loadout!
