To Lock On to an enemy, you will need to enable it from your Gameplay Settings. Learn about how to enable lock on and how to lock on in combat.

Change the Target Lock Settings

GOY - Lock on Options

By default Target Lock is disabled in the settings. To use target Locking your will need to go into the Gameplay Settings and manually turn it on. There are two options you can use the normal Enabled setting or the Swap on Defeat setting.

GOY - How to Lock on
After enabling Target Lock from the settings. You will be able to manually lock on to enemies by pressing the up button on the D-Pad.

Setting Details
Enabled
Press up to toggle target lock. Use R to switch targets.
Swap on Defeat
Press up to toggle target lock. Use R to switch targets.

When your opponent is defeated, you will lock onto the next available traget.
