First Wind Chime is in White Deer Woodlands

The first wind chime is hanging from the tree near the Storyteller's Rest.
Second Wind Chime is in Nakagoya Spring

Go to Nakagoya Spring, south of the Storyteller's Rest to find the wind chime attached to a spear that has been impaled to a body.
Third Wind Chime is in Stone Jaw Coast

The wind chime is on a corpse by a cliffside near Stone Jaw Coast, southwest from the Storyteller's Rest. Use the grappling hook to remove the corpse.
Fourth Wind Chime is in Rumoi River

The last wind chime is on Rumoi River. Defeat the ronin in order to get the wind chime from him.
The Undying Samurai Walkthrough

1. Collect Four Wind Chimes
| 1.1 |  As soon as you begin the tale, you will be tasked with collecting four wind chimes in the area. You can tell if a wind chime is nearby by their ringing. After the cutscene, you can find the first wind chime in front of you, hanging on the tree. |

| 1.2 |  Go south from Storyteller's Rest to find the second wind chime. It is attached to a spear impaling a body by a tree. |
| 1.3 |  For the third wind chime, go slightly southwest from Storyteller's Rest. The wind chime is by a cliffside, where you will see a corpse dangling from a tree. Use the grappling hook to bring the corpse down. Carefully jump down the cliffside to get the fallen wind chime. |
| 1.4 |  You can find the fourth and last wind chime slightly northwest from Storyteller's Rest. The wind chime is kept by a ronin at the river where a lone tree is. You have to defeat the ronin to get the wind chime. |
2. Find the Undying Samurai
| 2.1 |  With all the wind chimes collected, go to a cliff to the west of Rumoi River, where you'll see a tree near the cliff side. Go towards it to find a tree stump for you to use your grappling hook with. |

| 2.2 |  Use your grappling hook to climb down. Then, facing the sea, turn right to see another ledge to climb down from. At the bottom you will see a large cave. |
| 2.3 |  Slide down the slope and enter the cave through the opening lit by a torch. |
| 2.4 |  Inside the cave, follow the path lit by torches to reach the end of the Undying Samurai's lair. Use the grappling hook to traverse the area. Just before the end of the lair, you can find a chest that gives you 5 Oni Raider Mask Pieces. |
| 2.5 |  Use the grappling hook at the end of the cave to climb further down. Crawl through the hole to reach an area with water and wind chimes. |
3. Place the Wind Chimes on the Posts
In the water, you will see four short poles for you to place the wind chimes. Placing all four will cause a gust of wind to rush in and trigger a cutscene with the Undying Samurai.
4. Defeat the Undying Samurai
After the cutscene ends, face off against the Undying Samurai. Be cautious around his katana, which he will engulf with fire throughout the fight.
Once you defeat the Undying Samurai, examine his body to loot 117 coins. Another cutscene will trigger where you obtain the Armor of the Undying and speak with Ugetsu, ending the tale.

How to Unlock The Undying Samurai
Talk to the Storyteller Near White Deer Woodlands
Go to the northern part of Ishikari Plain to Storyteller's Rest, which is past Nakagoya Spring. On a field, you will see the storyteller Ugetsu at a small camp with a fire. Talk to Ugetsu and listen to the tale of the Undying Samurai.
