Weapon Aligned is a status when your equipped weapon is effective or is a weapon counter against an enemy in Ghost of Yotei. See the list of weapon alignment, how to weapon align, and its benefits!

GOY - KatanaKatana Effective against Katana users.

When you are weapon aligned against your opponents, you gain increased stagger damage allowing you to break through their guard faster.

Weapon Alignment or weapon counter is the equivalent of weapon stances in Ghost of Tsushima.

You can achieve weapon alignment if you swap to an effective weapon against an enemy. For example your enemy is using a spear, swapping to Dual Katanas will give you weapon alignment.

Weapon Alignment is essential to maximizing the effects of the Armor of the Undying, which is one of the best armors in the game.
