1. Head to Saito's Training Fortress
Go northeast from The Old Inn until you reach the Tomamu Marshlands in the Tokachi Range region. You should be able to see the fortress on the southeast side of Tomamu Mashlands.
2. Infiltrate the Fortress
Once you reach the gate, give the password to the guard to infiltrate the Fortress. A short cutscene will trigger once you're inside and an outlaw will challenge you to a Standoff.
3. Find Saito
| 3.1 | Head to the Gate |

 Head to the gate inside the fortress, located near the stables. It is better to sneak around rather than fighting enemies head on, as there are tons of enemies here. You can try to search the area as well to look for lootable items like Coins. |

| 3.2 | Head to the Cliff on the Left |
 After squeezing through the gate, head to the cliff on left until you reach the wall. Jump from the rock to reach the small tower close to the wall. |
|
| 3.3 | Use Spyglass to See the Next Objective |
 A cutscene will play once you're on the small tower. You will be able to use the Spyglass on this part of the quest. Scan the castle gate first, then look on the left to see where you will be going next. After that, scan the tall grass below so you can proceed. |

| 3.4 | Head to the Wooden Fence on the Left |
 Head to the wooden fence pointed by the Spyglass. You will have to go the long way around the bridge on the right if you want to avoid fighting the enemies on the left. |
|
| 3.5 | Climb the Cliff |
 Enter through the crack on the fence and start climbing the cliff. Follow the path until you reach the area close to another gate. |
|
| 3.6 | Enter and Find the Gate to the Castle |
 Enter through the gate and turn left. Follow the wall on the left until you reach the ladder. Climb up and you should be able to see the gap on the wall to the left, close to the chest. If you're lost, you can always follow the wind to know where to go next. |
|
| 3.8 | Enter the Castle Through the Window |
 Follow the path and climb the cliff to get to the castle. Go up the window of the castle and enter from there. You will be able to see Saito with his men talking about Atsu's recent deeds. |
4. Defeat Saito
You will have an option to Assassinate Saito but you will not succeed. Saito will ask you to go outside during the cutscene to fight him in a solo battle.
He uses a Spear which is weak against Dual Katana, so make sure to use them. Parry and dodge his attacks until you get an opening to attack. Keep repeating this process until you defeat him!
Take Advantage of Saito's Slow Attacks
You can easily parry and dodge Saito's attacks, as they are slow. You can take advantage of his speed and damage him after dodging or parrying his attacks.

Dual Katanas have advantage over spears because of its speed. You will be able to cut down Saito's health fast if you use Dual Katanas.
