1. Look for Gessho at His Camp
From Isaburo's position, use your spyglass to inspect the lone camp some distance away from the inn. Run to the camp to meet Gessho there.
2. Follow Gessho and Reflect at the Altar of Reflection
| 2.1 |  Follow Gessho through the trees to find the Altar of Reflection. On the way there, cut down the bamboo stalks blocking your way. |

| 2.2 |  At the Altar, perform a bow by sliding your finger downward on the controller touchpad. The Altar allows you to upgrade Atsu's techniques in a skill tree. You can spend points here to do so. |
3. Defeat Saito's Outlaws
After reflecting, you and Gessho will be ambushed by Saito's outlaws. Defeat the outlaws and part with Gessho to clear the side quest.

Talk to the Cartographer After the Old Inn Quest
Finish the Old Inn main quest to meet Isaburo the cartographer. Talk to him once and progress the dialogue to get the clue card.
