How to Get the Odachi

1. Start The Saito Brothers Quest Line

2. Go to Dojo Near the Horosaru Falls

3. Train Under Sensei Takahashi

1. Start The Saito Brothers Quest Line

In interrogating the Ronin that was sent to kill you, select the Saito Brothers card. This will point you out in the Tokachi Range.

The Yotei Six Quest Walkthrough

2. Go to Dojo Near the Horosaru Falls

In the Tokachi Range, head northwest to reach Master Yoshida's Dojo near Horosaru Falls.

Master Yoshida will be appearing on the bridge. Interact with him to commence training Odachi under him.

3. Train Under Master Yoshida

Step	Trial
3.1.	Spar with Master Yoshida. Execute Blocks and Attacks with the Odachi
3.2	Saito's men will be invading the Dojo. Help Master Yoshida defend his place. Use the Odachi against the enemy brutes.
3.3	Follow Master Yoshida in climbing the nearby falls. You will pursue the nearby enemy camps.
3.4	Continue climbing the obstacles, and you will encounter an initial camp of enemies. Clear it, then continue climbing towards the mountain.
3.5	Defeat all of the enemies in the area while focusing on the Bo-Hiya gunners first using your Odachi.

Completing these trials will permanently unlock the Odachi, equipped with its default kit.

Afterward, Master Yoshida will offer a new quest line that ultimately rewards you with an advanced Odachi technique and his signature weapon kit.

2	Unstoppable Strikes	While attacking with the Odachi, take less damage and become Unstoppable. Unstoppable attacks cannot be interrupted.
3	Bulwark Stance	A defensive stance for the Odachi that blocks all standard attacks.
4	Mountain Breaker	Devastating attack that inflicts massive Stagger damage and knocks down enemies Staggered by the attack.
5	Improved Bulwark Stance	Releasing Triangle during Bulwark Stance unleashes a slam which is then followed by a high damage double slash and piercing thrust Focus Attacks.
6	Strength of the Mountain	Increase Stagger damage against all enemies.
7	Indomitable Counter	Precisely timing Bulwark Stance will Perfect Counter all attacks, including red glint attacks.
8	Resolve of the Mountain	Take less damage when attacking with the Odachi.
9	Unstoppable Force	Damage taken while Unstoppable can be recovered. Recoverable Health appears grey and can be restored by attacking enemies.
