・If weapon aligned, Staggering enemies restores a minor amount of Health.

・If weapon aligned, Focus Attacks have a minor chance to increase Stagger damage.

How To Get: Defeat Soma the Condemned.
Perks:
・Perfect Parry and Perfect Dodge windows are increased by a minor amount, but regular Parries are disabled.
・A Perfect Parry enables 2 additional counterattacks.
・All Spirit Gains are increased by a minor amount.

・Quickfire weapon damage and duration of status effects inflicted on enemies are increased by a minor amount.

・Drinking Sake grants a minor amount of additional Spirit.

Perks:
・Fully drawing your bow creates a brief timed glint. Firing an arrow during the glint empowers your shot, moderately increasing its damage and range.
・Firing an empowered Arrow grants a minor amount of Concentration.
・Increase Arrow reload speed by a moderate amount.

Perks:
・Kusarigama assassinations turn enemies into temporary allies. The enemy dies when the effect ends. Costs 3 spirit, which cannot be reduced.
・Using Quickfire weapons on enemies grants a minor amount of Spirit.
・Enemies will not see you as a threat when you are playing the shamisen. Does not apply to enemy Leaders.

Body Armors are the primary equipment for increasing your combat and defensive capabilities by yielding powerful gameplay perks. Armors can be further improved with the help of Ginji the Armorer, where you can spend resources to upgrade the perks of each piece.

Mask and Hat Display
Headgear and Masks are cosmetic components for personalizing your character. Together with the body armors, their style and color can be customized by unlocking their Dyes, which cost flowers. Note that they do not provide gameplay perks.

How to Upgrade Armor

Interact with Ginji the Armorer

Ginji the Armorer
The NPC needed for you to upgrade most Body Armor would be Ginji the Armorer found in The Old Inn. Every Body Armor has its own set of required materials per level. Collect enough materials to successfully upgrade your Body Armor.

Progress Through the Main Story

Onryo Armor
You must progress through the main story to upgrade Onryo Armor specifically. Note that this is the only way to upgrade Onryo Armor.

No, Transmog is Unavailable

Despite all of the beautiful armor sets in Ghost of Yotei, you cannot replace or swap over armor to retain the perks you want. As an alternative, you can use Armor Dyes to personalize the look of your Atsu!
