1. Start The Kitsune Quest Line
In order to get the Kunai, you must start the The Kitsune
quest line as the initial requirement and unlock the Teshio Ridge.

2. Liberate All of the Farms in Teshio Ridge

| 2.1 | The first hana farm is located southwest of Sakuru Woods below the Two Brother's Campsite. |

| 2.3 | The third hana farm is located southwest of Sentinel Forest |
| 2.4 | The fourth hana farm is located south of Shipwreck Shoal |
| 2.5 | The fifth hana farm is located northwest of Hakodake Mountains |
Five farms are scattered in the Teshio Ridge region. Visiting any of the five farms will result in a fight against the Nine Tails and Hana coming in to save you.
After the cutscenes, the Kunai will be permanently unlocked and so will Hana as your main go-to person for Kunai upgrades. Your next task is to liberate all of Hana's Farms from the Nine Tails, which are indicated above.
Liberating 2 out of the 4 farms will result in Hana rewarding you with the Charm of Hidden Blades.

3. Talk to Hana After Liberating Five Farms
Return to Hana's original farm and meet all of the families you saved. Afterwards, she will reward you with the with the Charm of Burning Blades and the quest will come to a close.
4. Get and Replenish From Hana the Kunai Artisan
After completing the initial quest, you will unlock Hana the Kunai Artisan as a merchant to get Kunai and replenish your reserves for Free. You also unlock the possible upgrades for the weapon!

Throwable That Disrupts Foes
A Kunai is a small throwable blade that can be deployed quickly with deft hands. It is best used to stagger and interrupt enemies out of their attacks.
