How to Find a Lead on the Yotei Six
Attack Groups of Ronin and Interrogate Them
On starting the quest, if you have not obtained any information about the locations of the Yotei Six up to this point, you will start with an objective labeled, “Someone must have a lead on the rest of my family's killers.”
To find a lead, you'll need to find a group of Ronin (wandering unaffiliated samurai) around the open world, defeat them, and interrogate the final remaining member. Note that you may not receive any useful information, but continue the hunt until you find a Ronin who will allow you to choose one of three Quests: The Oni, The Kitsune, or The Saito Brothers.
You'll need to complete this step once for each of the three Quests to unlock them, though we're still investigating if it is possible to have more than one of the three Quests active at a time.

Ronin groups can be found across the map. We were able to find a Ronin providing the three Quests in Jade Grove, north of the Mountain Trail visited during The Way of the Dual Katana Quest. This Ronin actually approached Atsu to attack her for her bounty.

1. Find a Ronin and Interrogate Them
Find a group of Ronin and defeat them to get information on the three of the Yotei Six. There are specific areas where they spawn, and you can go there until they confront you.
2. Choose from The Oni, The Kitsune, or The Saito Brothers
After defeating the Ronin, you can ask it about The Oni, The Kitsune, or The Saito Brothers. Note that you can only choose one of the three, and you will have to hunt another Ronin to get information on the other Yotei Six members.
The Oni is in Ishikari Plain
The Oni is located in the Ishikari Plain. The starting location should appear on the map once you get the information on him through a Ronin. You will be able to learn how to use the Yari (Spear) here during the quest.
The Oni Quest Walkthrough
The Kitsune is Teshio Ridge
The Kitsune is residing in the Teshio Ridge region. The starting location for this quest will appear once you get the information on a Ronin.
The Saito Brothers in Tokachi Range
The Saito Brothers are found in Tokachi Range and will show up on the map once you get their info from one of the Ronins. You can get the Odachi while doing this quest.
