These quests can be done in any order, except for the Yari Quests, the Bomb Maker Quests, and Burning of the Caslte Ishikari, which requires you to finish them in order.
All Yari Quests to Complete
1. The Way of the Yari

| 1.1 |  Go to the western part of the Teshio Ridge and look for the Yari Master. Once you're in his territory, he will mistakenly attack you as he thought you are a raider. Deplete his health to around 75% to progress. |
| 1.2 |  Train with Sensei Takahashi afterwards to practice the Yari. He will ask you to fish and paint to help with practice. |
| 1.3 |  After the initial training, you will now be taught the Typhoon Kick. Follow his instructions until you get a solid hit on him. |
| 1.4 |  Oni Raiders will appear after and you must defeat him using the Yari and the Katana. The quest will end after and you'll unlock The Path of the Yari |

2. The Path of the Yari

| 2.1 |  Go to the Higashi Lumberyard located southeast of Horokanai Bluffs. Kill all the enemies inside until you get to Eijiro the Ruthless. Defeat him to liberate the Higashi Lumberyard. |
| 2.2 |  Your next stop is the Bold Kaji Forge, which is located southeast of Stone Jaw Coast. Do the same thing and clear the area to free it from the raiders. |
| 2.3 |  After liberating the two locations, learn a Yari Skill from the skill tree to finish the quest. You will also unlock The Yari's Fury after. |

3. The Yari's Fury

| 3.1 |  Meet Sensei Takahashi from his dojo located southeast of White Deer Woodslands. Talk to him to learn the Thundering Wave technique. |
| 3.2 |  The Oni Raiders will attack the dojo after learning the technique. Defend the dojo with him and defeat all the raiders to complete the quest. |
4. Sensei Takahashi's Persimmon Tree

|---|---|
| 4.1 | You must learn all the techniques from thhe Yari Skill Tree to progress. Visit the Altar of Reflections all over Ezo to get all of them unlocked. |
| 4.2 | Return to the dojo after that and head south until you see the large Persimmon Tree. Equip the Yari and simply hit the tree until Sensei Takahashi appears. This will complete the questline for the Yari. |

All Bomb Maker Quests to Complete
1. The Bomb Maker

| 1.1 |  Travel to Fire Cricket Canyon located south of Otaru Hills. Defeat the Oni Raiders trying to get Ina the Bomb Maker. |
| 1.2 |  Talk to Ina after defeating the first group of raiders. She will immediately teach you how to use the Scorch Bomb and ask you to deal with the next wave of raiders. Defeat them using the Scorch Bomb and don't come down to avoid getting hit by Ina's thrown bombs. The quest will finish once the area is clear and you will unlock the Fighting with Fire quest. |
2. Fighting Fire with Fire

| 2.1 |  Go to the Bear Rock located northeast of Ishikari River. Look for the lone bench on a rock and throw a Scorch Bomb there. Ina will appear after that and ask you to go to the cave. |
| 2.2 |  Look for the hidden stash that raiders hid. Use the Scorch Bomb to blow up the boulders to make a path. Interact with Ina to get the Blind Bombs after. Note that there's a bear residing in the cave, kill it first before doing anything else. |
| 2.3 |  The Oni Raiders are waiting on both of you outside. Deal with them to finish the quest. |
Fighting Fire With Fire Walkthrough
The Burning of the Castle Ishikari

| 1 | Complete both Yari Quests and The Bomb Maker Quests first to start the Burning of the Castle Ishikari. After that, start liberating more locations in Ishikari Plains. |
| 2 | Go to the Masked Man's Quarry found southeast of Rumoi River. Enter the area and defeat the raiders to liberate it from them. |
| 3 | Head to the Nishin Fishery next, which is located south of Otaru Beach, and do the same thing. Defeat the raiders to liberate the people there. |
| 4 | Make your way to the Broken Horn Garrison located east of Howling Cove after and repeat the process. Defeat all the raiders and free its people from them. |
| 5 | Go to Sensei Takahashi's Dojo after to plan your attack on Ishikari Castle with him and Ina. After the meeting, you will end up in front of the gates of the castle. Take over and burn the castle to complete this quest. |

Clear Yotei Six Camps in Ishikari Plain
Complete all the Yotei Six Camps in Ishikari Plain to complete the last part of the Burning Plains quest.

How to Unlock Burning Plains
Finish the Main Story
You can unlock the Burning Plains quest once you've finished the main story once. It will automatically appear once you're done watching the credits and the final cutscene.
