You can Fast Travel using the map in Ghost of Yotei, and potentially in a specific point of interest of a general area. See here for an extensive guide on how to Fast Travel here!
List of Contents

Hover over a point of interest of the map you've visited, and you'll be able to fast travel to that spot easily by holding the button indicated in the prompt, which is usually the Triangle button.
Map and Locations

The last camp you set up will save itself on the map. You can then Fast Travel to that area as a temporary travel point. This can be useful for continuing where you left off, after having to travel to a different area for whatever reason.
How to Setup Camp

Before being able to Fast Travel, you need to travel there first initially. You'll be able to fast travel after visiting an area for the first time, however you cannot fast travel in areas occupied by Saito.
Some Points of Interests that you'll be able to fast travel to are bamboo strikes, hot springs, marked settlements, and shrines, to name a few.

Some areas may have multiple points of interest you're potentially going to. Pressing the Fast Travel button on the area will open a list of potential points of interests you may choose to spawn in front of in the area. This is handy for talking to the merchants you're interested in buying from immediately.
