How to Skip a Cutscene

Holding the X button can skip most cutscenes in Ghost of Yotei, but is not able to skip cutscenes related to the main story. See a full guide on how to skip cutscenes here.

Hold X During a Cutscene

Skip Cutscenes in Certain situations

Pausing the game during a cutscene will show a prompt at the top for skipping a cutscene, instructing you on how to skip it. In the pause screen, hold the button as prompted to move past it. That said skipping will not work during sequences related to the main story.

Able to Skip NPC Interaction Cutscenes

Skip Cutscene in NPC Interactions

While sequences involving the main story cannot be skipped, most NPC interactions can be skipped.
