1. Take Snowstorm Katagiri's Bounty Quest
Outside of the Red Crane Inn, there is a bounty board alongside Kojiro the Bounty Broker. Interact with the bounty board and take Snowstorm Katagiri's bounty alongside other bounties posted there.
2. Navigate Your Way to Sarobetsu Forest
Teshio River is located northwest of the Red Crane Inn. You can select Snowstorm Katagiri's bounty on the map to track it and the guiding wind will point you to the location.
3. Look for Dead Horses Near the Road
Once near Sarobetsu Forest, roam around until it says Kitsune Altar. Head east from the altar and follow the road. Look for dead horses to spot Katagiri and his allies then fight him.
4. Chase Katagiri Uphill
When Katagiri is below 25% health, he will use a smoke bomb and run uphill to a nearby campfire. Chase him and he will have new allies and use a bow from now on to attack you from a distance.
5. Defeat Snowstorm Katagiri
Utilize a range or throwable weapon or chase him with your melee to defeat him. Once defeated, the bounty is done. Return to Kojiro the Bounty Broker to claim your reward.
Snowstorm Katagiri Location
Near the Kitsune Altar North of Sarobetsu Forest
Head further northwest from Red Crane Inn to Sarobetsu Forest. Find a nearby Kitsune Altar, and on the road, you should see dead horses all over. Katagiri should be near the horse corpses.
