| When the gods use blighted roots to block off eluvians in the Crossroads, the team must defet their champions to break the spell. | ||
To locate the Champion, head to the Tainted Woods and follow the quest marker until it leads you to an entrance. Scale the wall and make your way down to the base of the structure. Locate and destroy the Blighted Cysts to trigger the boss fight.
Once the Entarus has been defeated, interact with the red orb that spawns on its corpse to claim the champion's essence.
Travel back to the crossroads to take the champion's essence to the roots at Elvhenan's Haven. Interact with the roots to open the path and complete the quest.
Opening the path will unlock a new area for exploration. This also progresses the quest Regrets of the Dread Wolf.
Entarus spawns blue orbs above its head. These shoot itself at the player and can be dodged by strafing.
Entarus slams its club down, dealing damage in a line. The line leaves an area ignited, leaving a lingering area of effect. Dodge sideways, and avoid stepping into the AOE.
Entarus begins channeling, highlighting the area underneath the player. This area detonates after a set delay. Keep moving and repositioning to avoid taking damage.
Entarus teleports to the player if they are too far. Be prepared to defend against an attack as soon as it appears in front of you.
Entarus charges in a line, dealing damage to the player and knocking them away. Dodge sideways to avoid getting damaged and knocked back.
Completing this quest will award players 250 Caretaker Power. This helps boost the rank of the Caretaker's Workshop, allowing players to upgrade their equipment.
