Warriors are the vanguards of the party, being the heavy hitters and frontline fighters, they are likely gathering the most aggro and tanking most of the damage.
If you want to charge into battle, smashing through enemies while shrugging off damage, the Warrior class is for you.
Warriors use heavier weapons and armor, focusing on taking and dealing damage head-on to build up their Rage meter.
Rage is the Warrior's class resource and is used to activate your abilities. The Rage meter builds up as you deal and absorb damage.
Warriors deal massive stagger on enemies, which can be seen on a purple bar right above the enemies HP bar. Once the stagger reaches full, you can initiate a take down on the staggered enemy.
All classes deal stagger on enemies but the warrior by far deals the most.
The Warrior can swap on the fly between a one-handed weapon paired with a shield, or a two-handed weapon to fight. You can swap weapon sets by pressing the swap key, which is Down on the D-Pad by default.
For a more defensive option, the weapon and shield offers higher defensive stats. Perfect for warriors who want to focus on tanking. With a shield equipped, you can hold the shield up by holding the block button.
Two-handed weapons are a great option for prioritizing offense and dealing heavier damage. These have a larger AoE swing and are a better option for hitting multiple enemies at once.
Unlike the shield, you cannot permanently hold block, and have to time deflects by tapping the block button.
Only Warriors have the strength for these heavier armors. While heavy, these armors can turn an already strong warrior into a fortress.

Specializations are unique sub-classes that are unlockable at level 20. Each specialization unlocks a new skill tree for your Warrior, with unique skills to choose from depending on your build.
Favoring a defensive fighting style, Champions rally allies and use their shields for both defense and offense. Champion abilities mainly damage with fire and apply a burning status effect.
The Champion favors using a weapon and shield to protect and defend allies and themselves, making it an excellent choice for tank focused builds.
The Reaper focuses on leeching life from enemies using necrotic damage and using it to empower themselves. Reaper abilities mainly apply Siphon which takes enemy HP and makes it your own.
The Reaper has excellent sustainability. Use the Siphon applying abilities to deal damage, heal yourself, stay in the fight, and build up your Rage meter.
This specialization focuses on using Two-Handed weapons to charge into the fray and deal massive amounts of physical damage and stagger.
The Slayer is perfect for players who want to play an aggressive playstyle, wanting to charge in head-first and destroy enemies before they can do the same.
