Get Information From the Shadow Dragons

Talk to Maevaris

Head towards the lounge aria with fire at the center in the Safehouse. Speak to Maevaris by the table near the beacon.

Uncover the Venatori Plot

Meet Dorian in The Cobbled Swan

Fast travel to the Wharf Crossing South Beacon and head to The Cobbled Swan. Speak to Dorian located by the easternmost section of the area.

Search the Belongings of Lenos' Contact

Proceed to the table at the northeast corner and examine the mug on the table, the satchel on the ground, and the bedroll in the corner. Afterwards, exit The Cobbled Swan and speak to Dorian to enter the next section of the quest.

Stop Lenos

Find Lenos

Exit the room and defeat the Venatori in the area. Upon breaking the first barrier, enter the room on the left before proceeding to pick up a memento. Continue following the path— defeating the Venatori along the way —until you arrive at the Undercity.

Destroy the Obstruction

Defeat the horde of darkspawn and destroy the first blight gate. The cyst can be located near the bottom left side of the gate. Continue along to encounter more darkspawn and a second blight gate. Destroy the cyst directly on top of the doorway, and the second one opposite of the gate's position.

Find the Venatori Hideout

Follow the path to arrive at the Venatori hideout, where the Knight-Commander Lenos can be encountered. He is vulnerable to Cold but resists Fire damage, and is accompanied by Venatori mages.

Dispatch the mages first before focusing on Lenos to ensure a smoother fight. Strip his armor with heavy attacks and break his stance with charged attacks to temporarily disable his shield. Blast him with Cold damage once his health is exposed to defeat him quickly.

Combat Guide

Search the Venatori Vault

Lenos will drop a key upon his defeat. Open the vault to find a Magister's Bargain amulet in a small chest, the Scroll of Eternal Victory memento, and the Cold Steel longsword inside the large chest if Rook is a Rogue.

After finding all the notes in the vault, speak to the party to return to Dock Town. Head to Maevaris' location and speak to her and Dorian about the Venatori's plans.

Choose the Archon

Maevaris will argue with Dorian on their methods in fighting the Venatori, wherein she prefers to rally the people and Dorian would rather crush them in the shadows. Maevaris will ask Rook to ask for the Dock Town residents' opinion on who should be the next archon, particularly: Neve, Viper, and Tarquin.

After speaking with the residents, return to Maevaris and decide on the next archon. This choice will not affect the ending, apart from an additional slide on how Minrathous is led based on the new archon chosen.
